The fact that a person can see the love between them for 5 years should be enough to prove how real this is. I think over the years it's gotten more obvious as the years go on too. And people say it's a "fan service" or we shouldn't "ship". Remember people THEY came up with BOTH ship names. First VHope, then later down the road, changed it to Vope. How can you "ship" something when they themselves are telling you it's real and it's okay to call them Vope. I think they look amazing together and am happy that they found someone that cares for them and takes the good with the bad.

Hi, i think everyone do what they want like shipping them friendly or not.. it depends to who.. but ofc all members love each other nothing wrong with that ! And if they're really together ( Hoseok and Taehyung) it's their choices too. They "ship" themselves. They came up with the 2 ship names used. So no matter what is it between them (friendship/love), calling them VHope or Vope is perfectly valid.
I'm not a shipper but I watch all the boys' ship vids. This ship was officially acknowledged by the two so I guess it's okay to support them.
