I LOVE everything govee. Everything ive purchased from them has worked perfectly, and continues to do so a year later. A lot of unique controls through their app.

Your desk is probably nearly twice as big as mine (55x24) and yet the lights fit around three sides of yours. I don't think the 9.8ft version will fit around my entire desk, but it'll get close and that's enough for me. I've already ordered a set today, but decided to only now take a look at what they look like in the wild, lol. I'm happy they look as good as they did in the ad.

Its Custom My friend I built it myself from MDF vinyl wrap magnetic charger and power strips under for all the electronics it cost less than any other desk that I could Find around $30 in material and some time

Unfortunately Govee don't export to us here in NZ so I had to order this from Australia and my Govee Glide Hexagon Light Panels Ultra- METEOR GRAY from America. Can't wait to get them.

I was looking at these fory set up but as my desk is white I really didn't want to black backing from the strip on show. With your black desk these look really slick though. I hope they bring out a version with a white backing because I would definitely try these out. Great review too 👍🏻

yes in theory ! You would need to set a schedual and timer in that case but yes all that can be done in the app and there are a few modes that mimic this sunrise for eg : it gets brigter over time it is possible but you would also need to set it all up to work well

I hate to ask a dumb question, but say you go to move, and you have these LED strips on them, how do you remove them and then apply them again once you've moved to a new house/office for example?
not dumb sir, a valid question ... it is abit of an issue but not much ! you can peel the sticky off it is a little time consuming and tediouse but i have done it several times with a few various strips when moving my lights around its not ideal to move them around too much but you can re stick them i would recomment the same type of adhesive though or 3M its not a big problem just takes a little time a hour maybe to clean and re stick
@blackblack7213 it bends back and forth For eg If you wanted it to face out and bend up and down you would be better off with the govee rope light we have a video or 2 on them you could see if they would be better good luck finding your ideal set
Hello there 👋 Thank you for the video. I have a question regarding the cutting. My desk is 3.6m long, the strip is available at 3m and 5m. Is there a cutting line at 3.6m? Are they frequent enough to make a difference? Because if i can only cut at 350cm, 380cm, 410cm or something like that i will go with the 3m version P.S. I just want it on the backside of the table
tbh i'm not entirely sure on precice cuts but there is a few marker s to cut it down to size and a spare cap end so it can 100 % be cut as for being 3.6 on the dot i couldnt say my friend with 100% certainty but after a quick measure and rough guess the first cut line is at 3m so just over 3 meters it can be cut in several places and there are approx 6 cut lines every 3 inches or so from then onward i hope that helps give you an idea
No Unfortunately we can't connect two of the desk lights or Rope Lights if you wanted to connect 2 around a larger desk or bench i would recommend the Govee M1 as you can add a second strip or buy a 1 meter extension and run it from one power supply but not with these ones If its the difused effect your after you can still use the M1 and buy additional channels or difused strips quite cheap I hope that helps answer your question and i hope you find something that works Have a great Day !
No Mate They Arn't that Bright that it would affect your TV viewing experience also you can customise brightness and turn them right down to 1% which is barly visable If you had them on 100 % with a Reactive mode they may get distracting but otherwise no my friend you can customise them to suit anyway aswel if you prefer Thanks for taking the time to comment and have a great Day / Evening

to be honest i would need to know Where do you intend on using them ? also what are you trying to light ? ie: small bedroom or large living room or just a gaming space also a thing to note if you intend on bending the light for example around a 95 degre angle or corner like the the desk then the Desk light is better suited as it bends backward and forward the rope light is more curved and bends up and down if you were looking at them face on @@mcmuzik4852
My desk Is similar to yours but the larger rope neón for desks i can find Is 3mts long wich is not enough , your rope looks a lot larger than 5mts , can you tell me how you did it??, did u mix 2 ropes of 3mts?
no its just one strip The desk light is 3 meters and i dont run it along the back so its just right but there is a 5meter available on the website if you cant find it i can link it for you

@rulus5556 no the desk light and rope are slightly different The desk light has 3M VHB sticky back and the light bends backward and forward when face on The Neon Rope has clips to mount and is slightly thinner all white and bend up down making shapes and designs easier I hope that helps and have a great weekend
my Desk is a 5 meter edge with all 4 sides but the Strip is only 3 Meters so i use it on the sides and front as i plan to have T2 and strips behind the monitors soon
Yes they can be cut but you have to use the dot markings or measure the distance to the cut lines / solder lines but yes thay can be cut like any others
