I had forgotten this story was based on Life Finds a Way. That's a very, very in depth HIE I'd almost request a read of one day, but not sure to be honest. It's good, great even, but it can be a lot in many ways. Very much a 'I gave x amount of time to tell this story, and this character is going to make every day count' but done well. The only downside is that there are a lot of sexual references and such, but nothing too crass or explicit that doesn't have big red letters and a 'this isn't important and doesn't feature the main character, you may skip to the next chapter'
