Sorry to be so offtopic but does anyone know of a way to get back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot my password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me.
I seen one on face book market place fore sale with doors and windows all original parts. Motor and pump taken out. So I watched you video and now I think I might get it. Thank you.
Awesome video! 20+ years ago when I was teenager I would ride this all around my aunt and uncles property in southwest Virginia. My 8 year old is really into atv vehicles now so I thought I'd search for a trackster. We really enjoyed your video!
When I was in Boy Scouts back in the 70's, one of the fellow scout's dad had one of those. One winter snow camping trip, he took the Trackster along and drove it up to the cabin we were staying at up in the mountains. It worked fairly well, with a bunch of us piled onto it. Although, I recall that when it was being driven over a series of humps in the snow covered road, it was very uncomfortable. As you went over the crest of a hump, the driver would get thrown forward, inadvertently pushing the control lever forward. Then at the bottom of the hump, as you started up the next one, the opposite would happen and the driver would pull back on the stick. I had my cross country skis and eventually took off ahead of the guys on the Trackster and I beat them to the cabin by an hour.
Not unlike riding in a snow coach in Yellowstone! Which, for the most part nowadays are just multi passenger vans with Mattraxx. Although there are a few Bombardier left.
My father had one of these that included a molded bulkhead (also lime-green) around the perimeter allowing it to float - although it was very slow in the water.
That thing is absolutely adorable. I currently work for a golf cart shop and enjoy the Cushman products we sell. Granted they are the golf cart style. Got the chance to drive a Truckster from Cushman. Those carts are tanks and so fun to drive as well. Honestly I liked it better than the other golf carts and utilities carts I have driven. Granted the Yamaha UMAX is still my absolute favorite
Sir. Your videography and editing is getting really good. ( Reversing into the shed 👍🏻) This is my go to channel every morning having coffee. Thank you for your efforts.
Looks like a lot of fun. Good to have in the snow and mud. Enjoy, but always have an emergency kit with you in case you get stranded by a breakdown or in that rare occurance when it might get stuck and leave you a long walk home. Thanks for the video.
Certainly a good idea. Luckily we probably won't ever take it all that far. Around our 40 acres and to the general store or post office if the plows haven't been through and those are within walking distance if we had to.
That’s awesome! Ive heard of tracksters but never seen one running, I’ve got a few Cushman Eagles scooters that my grandfather got me interested in years ago.
love to have one of those toys myself.. although my kingdom is not quite and a full acre so I would have to go to the woods to play.. oh dran.. how terrible for me.. well now I just have to find one.. I could put it under my fishing poles when I am going out fishing.. geez anvals, drones, cushman carts.. lucky for you my wife doesn't like to travel much.. Take care John boy.. are you gonna do some fishing videos soon? Well.. enjoy life there in the fresh air..
Pretty neat machine. I'm sure it comes in rather handy for quite a few tasks or rural property. Glad you got the conversion done m she's up n running. Looks like alot of fun and utilitarian too. On the ranch I've a JD Gator. Well I'd surely rather have something along the lines of that in quite a few instances. 🙏 Blessed days Mr John Crawford out ⚒️🧙♂️
After purchasing my latest antique tractor my wife has forbidden me to buy any more. This, however, isn't a tractor, so I'm going to start looking for one. Worth missing HOTW to finish this, for sure! Wanna swap for a 1958 International front loader?
@@janetswitzer7029 Bravo! My wife would probably skin me alive if I traded the old International away; she is learning to love bombing around our farm on it. I assume your response means you love bombing around on the Trackster, and again, Bravo!
@@JohnSwitzer weird such similar stories. The only difference was that you said your friend had a plow operated by winch. My plow is hydraulic. If you want any dimensions or help with a plow setup feel free to reach out.
What a cool vehicle! The only thing that bothers me, and maybe it is just my perception, but the passenger accommodation and layout seem awful! It appears that you have to sit in the middle of the seat to control the vehicle, leaving a passenger out, or crowding them in a not very wide seat and reaching over for the controls. And why couldn't they have stretched that back of the body to have, at the very least, two jump seats and room to haul some gear? Most ATVs I have seen have room for two people up front and room behind the seats as well. I don't understand this configuration....
I would not be able to resist sticking a 6 foot section of aluminum or pvc pipe on the front so I could go around playing tank commander … hey, I’m 62 years old …I don’t have to prove anything to anyone …

What a great vehicle, looks like something you would see on the old Lost in Space.
Maybe i should dress it up next Halloween.
I love the trickster but man that land!!!

That thing is awesome! That's about as cool as it gets!
Awesome John, that is really cool!! Nice job on the rebuild. A snow plow is a great idea. Wayne
Thanks, John. I want one. We just don't have any snow in middle Tennessee to enjoy it with.
It isn't just for snow.
That thing is AWESOME!!!! I can see why you guys love it 👍

Nice ride. Need to put a canopy on it and make it an all weather vehicle. :) Or not. lol
We actually have factory original cab for it. But its sort of like being packed into a box.
It reminds me of a diesel Kubota sxs. Loud and slow. Run off every critter for miles if you try to use it for hunting

No, different person

A civilian bren-gun carrier :)
The bren is also a cool vehicle... But you can still get spare tracks for the cushman ;)
So the cushman wins.... Although it has no armour-plating :)

Almost as loud as a concrete pump!
It is loud
They where junk back in the day, nothing as change.
