Barnes Wallace certainly did play croquet. His daughter said “he played a great many games in the garden - we had a big croquet lawn and a lawn set out for coits and badminton”
At 1:23:59 did the player’s mallet contact the ball using the full face of his mallet, that is to say in accordance with the rule? I’m a newbie to the game and would appreciate improving my understanding. 1:24:00
Confirmed that even if he did hit a beveled edge, it is not a fault unless it’s hampered by another ball or a hoop or the peg. Only in AC is a beveled edge in a jump shot automatically a fault.
I really appreciate the footage - such a great croquet channel! Regarding the slow motion of some shots, I would like to see the normal speed version too. Perhaps keep the original version and subsequently show the slow motion footage - like in livestream footage. Having both normal and slow motion footage helps one to appreciate the shot more. Just my two cents. Thanks!

Now that's worth knowing. Thank you!

I'll try to slow it down enough to tell. But it's not a fault unless it's a hampered stroke
and I don't thnk it is. Wlyk
