    Lovely fly Barry. Nice and simple for us 'novices' to be able to tie. Many thanks for sharing.

    WOW.. I have never even seen a fly like that before.. Thanks Barry.. live and learn eh! Hope you had a great trip to Scotland..

      Thanks, yes back home now. The thing with this pattern is that when you pull it through the surface the sugar cube pushes water and makes a great attractor!

    Barry does it make a big difference if you tie in the booby cylinder without shaping it like a cube? Thanks for this pattern! Looking forward to fishing it.

      Hi Nicole, No I guess not but a square shaped foam will push more water if you are pulling it!

      Hi Phil this is Uni Tinsel medium if I remember correctly.

    Do you fish it by pulling it under the water surface?

    • @Thefeatherbender
      @Thefeatherbender  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can fish it static or with small tweaks.

    Barry have you cut that booby cord to a taper after cutting it in half?

    • @Thefeatherbender
      @Thefeatherbender  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Anthony, yes! just so that you get a taper on the hares ear body.

    Barry, looks like you have a sweet tooth. Good thing you didn’t use real sugar. Nice fly.
