I honestly didn't think I'd stand outside in a line waiting for my LGS to open when this launches in late February (as a Canadian, I spend as little time outdoors in that month as possible, HA) but the fact we're getting Ducktails and Tailspin cards I guess I'll have to bundle up and get my butt in that line! I need those cards!

Guarantee there will be new items and actions coming in the new set that will help boost Locations or help take them down. Really excited to see more cards from this set, it's looking really promising!
What does seem strong about locations? They can't challenge and can be challenged before they gain lore. Mechanically speaking, they are characters with downsides. Any strength they have will come from their abilities, which may as well be in characters.
I think locations are strong in that they are passive lore gainers. Forcing your opponent to use their characters in a turn to banish a location stalls them from winning. It's kinda like a slow burn thing. They survive cards that normally reset the board like Be Prep and Grab Your Sword. They're just annoying/threatening enough that you can't ignore them, but also not so much of a threat that you want to prioritize them. But yeah, there's no real reason to debate on it much since we've only seen one and don't know what the other characters/locations will bring in regards to abilities and impact on gamestate.

I can't wait. I think we'll finally see how Disney Lorcana was meant to be played all along. Locations are only going to make the game more fun imo!
