Learn the CAGED system, and the associated pentatonic scales that go with each "Caged shape".. it will allow you to do what he's doing... And then once you do that, learn the 7th chords and then the suspended chords. And you'll be able to do what he's doing.

This is a standout lesson (I'm a long time HomeSkooler) but it's only one of many examples of your amazing content. I also want to highlight the great "On My Sleeve" lessons that you produced with Mark Lettieri - recommended to anyone. It's so tasty, advanced in some ways but accessible. Mark's a great teacher, and you producing no doubt had a lot to do with that. Working through only a fraction of it made *everything else* in my playing easier and better - and who doesn't want to emulate Mark!? Thank you!!

I’ve come to realize toms genuine positivity and humbleness has attributed to his prowess as a Nashville cat , obviously he can play but the humble feeling in his playing sets him apart

For sure. Without a doubt probably the most mind blowing guitarist I have ever worked with. Just wait till the course comes out!

So refreshing to get a video about creating chord voices and melody. So many years of playing I have created my own roadblocks by playing everything the same way too much. It's all there if you want it to be and you open your imagination. Mind blown. Great video. Much appreciated.

Larry is at the top of his game . . . . fantastic. The way he theorizes the harmonies he plays are so Hendrixish with a classy Gibson flare . . . and who needs any pedals - although a 80s vintage chorus, with a slight delay may accentuate it all some . . . fantastic PROFESSIONAL guitarist... He really should get a tame stylish competent bass player and a knowledgeable progressive keyboardist and turn the recorders on . . . and leave em on as long as they are all together wanting to play. Great video.

Larry is the GOAT
