Magic realism was a written word in "100 years of solitude" from our novel Gabriel Garcia Marquez. And yes! we have many types of butterflies here, and the most beautiful and big is the blue one.❤️

@@PaintedHoundie but they're saying that this movie is probably not a "Disney Princess" brand movie. As in, there have been princesses who aren't a part of the brand (Kida, Giselle) AND there have been princesses that are a part of the brand but arent actually princesses (Mulan, Vanellope).
Their comment was saying the movie in general does not have a disney princess nor does it apply to the brand because the film is about a family and not a girl. There have not been a lot of Disney princess films as of recent. I think the last few Disney princesses were Moana, Tiana, and Rapunzel, with Anna and Elsa being added to the brand because of Frozen's success

@@kassinwonderland22 She's had a major global studio film that we've seen in theatres? No, it's a TV show. It's like saying that representation is not big enough for a movie franchise. My entire family in latin america has no idea who she even is. Glad they are finally getting the ball rolling for real. They also don't get credit for taking so long with it when there has been other princess's with WAY more representation. It's like giving certain races and ethnicities a ticket to wait their turn until it's profitable enough.
She won't be a princess.
They did the movies based on stories first as adaptions so that’s why something like Aladdin, Pocahontas and Mulan got made. But now because of the Disney Princess line people want all enthnicities and it doesn’t count that Emperor’s New Groove was set in Inca Empire or that that Coco was set in Mexico since they didn’t have girls for Princess line.

She will be put in Princess line. It was announced in 2016 that Miranda will be making a Latin America Princess film. Mulan wasn’t Princess either but it’s in the lineup which is what people are talking about.

Yo siento lo mismo! Esta bien que están incluyendo mas culturas, pero deben de poner las mismas ganas con la historia que cuentan. Por ejemplo “Raya and the Last Dragon” era muy bonito y representaba varias culturas asiáticas… pero sufrió de una historia débil y muchos detalles que no tenían sentido. Y el “dragón” era muy enfadosa y no alcanzó mis expectaciones.

Based on the teaser, it could be communities from the north of Colombia (Santa Marta) like from the arhuacos, wiwas, kogis or kankuamos. Anyway, I'm soooo excited!
