But if you think this is nonsensical, then play the first campaign in this saga, Adventures of Rowan the Wise, because at least the other chapters try to be serious. The first one does not, and yet is still canon to these campaigns for some reason.
I mean this is in canon as well. They banned all Arcane and denounced it as evil, while 100% embraced Druidic arts. Taking over 10000 years and a boatload of world ending calamities before they finally decided to accept that no single brunch of magic is truly evil.

Yes but it's incomplete at the moment. Last I checked the "good" path has some finished levels in the current version, but if you want a complete story, this is the only path with it.
