Securing Data inside of Microsoft Fabric - Ginger Grant

Many people are relying on lakehouses and using them instead of databases, and like all forms of data they need to be secured. What methods can you use? Can you implement groups like you would do in SQL Server? Is it possible to mask values or exclude tables from access? Is it possible to implement row level security inside of a lakehouse or is that functionality only available inside of a Power BI semantic model? In this session we will review the different methods you can use to secure your data including limiting workspace access and access to data in One Lake. The demonstrations will show you the steps you can implement to have a more secure environment inside of Microsoft Fabric.
