Shane, I completely agree. I have been using the A52 for the last week+, and your observations are the same as mine. I had been very happy with my S8 for several years, and I was stalking a replacement. I hadn't changed since the S8 introduction largely because I didn't feel the step-up features on the subsequent Samsung releases were important enough to upgrade. The S21 had the feature improvements I wanted but seemed a little pricey. When I saw the A52 announcement I had to double-check the features because it appeared so close to the S21 but at a much more reasonable price. I took the trade-in from Samsung, they offered $75. I might have gotten a little more by shopping around, but $75 was close enough to the real market price and Samsung made it easy to trade it in. When the public realizes the value, the A52 will be a big hit.
I got an A52 as a secondary phone. I liked the feel, its, fast, its quick a punch for its price, and the funniest thing is the snapchat filters it gives you in the camera. Definitely would recommend. (My primary phone is iPhone 12 pro facepalm lol)

And here I am, been watching a52 video reviews for 5 days straight everyday but don't have to money to buy one. Watching from my 3 years old samsung galaxy A6.
Man the speakers on my A52 5g sound as good as my girlfriends s21 ultra. No lie. And the 120hz refresh rate is awesome too. I upgraded from the A51 and it's a huge improvement.
Love it! Used S21 but this will be next. No point spending over $1500 on so called flagship phone which the only use for me will be snapchat and gaming
I thought of buying this phone as soon as I saw it for the first time, it seems really promising and really good for the price. Currently I am using a galaxy a30 which I bought brand new and in the last few months the main camera wouldn't focus which is apparently a common thing amongst this phone... other than that I am really happy with the battery life with 4000ma battery which I still use for two days straight without charging, so I'm excited to see how much will I pull with those extra 500ma

First day it arrived officialy in Israel I ordered and recieved the A52 for my girlfriend replacing her old J5 2016. She is very budget minded and was really reluctant to upgrade. But once she got the phone in her hands she was just thrilled. A great purchase, I am very satisfied and impressed!
Watching this on A52, so far so good. The only complain is the back material, while it has good grip and anti fingerprint-like, the build quality is very cheap, if you press it will flex.
When I was first making this video I was prepared to criticize this, but so many people use cases that at the end of the day it doesn't matter. I use a cheap case on my S21 Ultra which is very premium feeling so it goes both ways.

All I can say is I've had flagship Samsungs in the past (e.g. S3, S7, etc.) and to me the A52 5G competes well with them (as long as you don't miss the odd feature too much). Let me know what you go for and what you think of it 👍
My current Samsung had the headphones and I did not use them not a single day because their size did not match my ears. And the headphones themselves were quite mediocre (something you could buy separately for maybe $10-$20). Honestly, I'd exchange the phones for some extra feature for the device itself

I'm still enjoying my A51. The battery life is great. But the even bigger battery and duel speakers on the A52 is very attractive to me.

On the 5g version of the A52 the processor is a 750G, whereas the A72 5g uses the 720G.
A52 5G and A72 are the names. 5G is not supported on the 720G so that's why the 5G model uses 750G. The A72 does not have a 5G model as of now.
