The instinct x was not meant to be a "better" instinct, it was meant to be different. The instinct is very small, the instinct x is for people that don't like small clippers. They are identical besides the body. This clipper will also be identical, it's all down to preference. I prefer small clippers, loved the original instinct I don't see myself paying more or buying this new instinct unless I want another one or mine breaks. Metal or plastic makes no difference to me. Metal will not make a difference in durability, if you drop it and it was going to break in plastic, it's going to break in metal.

It’s sad 😔 that in all this time nothing has truly surpassed Wahl wireless clippers. BabylissPro is in 2nd place with quality but their clippers are weird and awkward. And everything else falls way short. This clipper is my personal favorite of any clipper I’ve used cutting 5 days a week 25 heads a day 10 hour days, but I can feel the Chinese cheapness in every flick of the wrist. But I’ll keep using it cuz there’s nothing else and I can’t create a better one 😔
@@The_UnrulyBarber no they don’t because my friend modified the masters blade and filled the gap where the rear of the stylecraft blade normally falls in which is what causes the clipper to get louder. He uses gorilla epoxy and after it hardened used a sander to smooth it out. I’ve used them for well over a year and the epoxy is holding perfectly and I’m able to use the stretch bracket which is amazing
Love my original instinct. Glad to see a solution to vibration with same mold. However, Still standard usb!? Type C needs to be the standard at this point. Especially new remodeled clippers. No one uses usb anymore. On house calls or in a pinch I want to be able to charge with the standard cord on iPhone and every other android device on the market.
Exactly, only cheap electronics have micro usb anymore, they're not doing anything new and exciting, they replaced the back plastic with metal, still looks to have plastic covers and the title says All Metal Instinct, lol
