    Thank you so much, I just finished installing my 3.0 Radio and the harness you sent me was 100% plug and play. Thank you.

    @3:40 really saved me a lot of confusion. I disconnected these cables during an install and couldn’t not find them. I have been looking for them everywhere behind the dash lol. Now I’m sure they’re probably on the floor or center console!

    If you put a navigation entune 3.0 system to replace a non-naviagation entune 2.0 would navigation work? Just not sure how that works

      I have the same question.

    • @autoharnesshouse
      @autoharnesshouse  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Yes. It doesn't matter if the vehicle had Navigation. It only matters if the Entune 3.0 unit that you're installing has Nav. Also, most vehicles will have a GPS antenna even if they didn't come with Navigation, so you shouldn't need to buy/install a GPS antenna for most situations.

    What is the recommended part number for the newer stereo system? My wife has a 2016 4runner and wants the newer system, but I noticed multiple part numbers, so I want to make sure she has the right one.

    Does the built in navigation actually work in the unit you installed. If not, then what is missing?

    • @autoharnesshouse
      @autoharnesshouse  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There's a coaxial cable that goes from the main headunit to the navigation box. The customer didn't have this cable ( it's a Toyota part that is usually included with the used navigation units) when we did the install, so the navigation didn't work until he bought that cable. Once he installed that cable, Yes, the navigation worked flawlessly.

    6:36 I noticed you didn’t address the hazard installation. I’m having issues when I click the hazard button it won’t stay on. Am I doing something wrong?

    • @autoharnesshouse
      @autoharnesshouse  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For the Hazard light, you'll need to use the old switch (the one that came with your 4Runner. The new switch is a momentary switch so it won't work correctly from an electrical standpoint. The issue becomes that the hazard light switch that you have doesn't fit firmly in the hole on the new headunit. You'll need to find some way to secure it in the new bezel. This could be by using some double-sided tape or a zip tie from the back but basically, you just want to get it to seat in a way so that it doesn't rattle.

    Want to put an JBL entune stereo in my Gen2 taco also JBL? Do you have a harness for this or am I going to have to splice wires?

    • @autoharnesshouse
      @autoharnesshouse  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We have an adapter for doing the Entune 2.0 to Entune 3.0 upgrade for a JBL truck. If you are planning to do it on a pre-Entune 2.0 truck, we should be able to work something out for you. No need to splice wires. Just email us!

    Hold on, on the navigation module box I see a long black harness connector port on the left of the white antenna outlet. Does that need to be plugged in or will the navigation still work without it? Also, what does that connector do exactly? Thanks again.

    • @briandoll4781
      @briandoll4781 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, the long black plug must be connected. This connector is part of the Navigation transplant adapter that we provide. It connects some signals from the Navigation unit to the main headunit.

    Hi friend, I have a project to change the stereo of my 2010 Toyota 4runner for a 2024 stereo, the same one in the video. I want to know if it is possible. I know that physically it is, but I don't know electronically.

    • @autoharnesshouse
      @autoharnesshouse  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We can help with this. It's a bit more complex if you've got the JBL/Nav system in your 4Runner but we can basically custom build an adapter to make this work based on your vehicle specifics. Please email us! inquiry@autoharnesshouse.com

    Have you guys ever tried doing this for a 2019 Corolla non hatchback

    • @autoharnesshouse
      @autoharnesshouse  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, this will work for the 2019 Corolla. You'll want to verify that the dash fascia will mechanically fit, though. Electrically, this kit will connect the new unit to your Corolla. Thanks!

    Can I retrofit a JBL Entune 3.0 head unit into a non JBL 2012 4Runner?

    • @autoharnesshouse
      @autoharnesshouse  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, we always recommend installing JBL in a JBL vehicle and non-JBL in a non-JBL vehicle. The JBL headunits don't work without the OEM JBL amp and those amps can be hard to find. In addition, generating wiring to add a JBL amp is very involved and very expensive if you don't already have JBL in the vehicle.

    Do you me keep xm with this?

    • @autoharnesshouse
      @autoharnesshouse  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, XM radio can be retained. Usually the antenna plugs right in without any modification. Sometimes the XM radio antenna connection is in a different spot on the back of the unit so we have to use a short extension to get it to connect. Please let us know if you need this!

    This is what I been looking for. I'm going from 2012 head unit to a 2015. Everything plugs up except for steering g wheel control plug and the auxiliary plug. How do I get one? I think I'm going from a entune 1.0 to entune 2.0. Thanks
