    China got two types of GB/T, DC and AC that looks like Type2 Mennekes but is not compatible.

    Have you guys heard about Type 6 connectors in India? Ola electric has those types.

    Is one standard more capable than another? I.e. Handle higher fast charging rates from a future proof standpoint?

      Yes. Type 2 is able to handle upto 22kW as oppose to 7kW with Type 1. CCS2 can charge upto 350kW whereas the CHAdeMO is upto 60kW

    Is it possible to press stop button on type 1 charging gun when charging gun is unlocked?

      The button on the Type 1 plug is simply a latch. It can be pressed at anytime.

    Very good explanation on a confusing and convoluted topic. Earned yourself another subscriber! Very new a small channel but I hope you will grow quickly. Keep up the great work, mate. Can't wait to see more videos, perhaps exploring the different charging stations, who runs/owns them, costs, etc.
