Git' er' up to 55-60 MPH ON THE SHOULDER before trying to move into traffic. Done it a million times when I gear-jammed. With today's big power engines and good transmissions, it's no big thing. Try a 1958 AUTO-CAR in-line eight smoker with a blower and an 18 speed TRIPLEX in the MOUNTAINS (14% grades)! That'll make a som-bit from a plaster Saint!!! (Zero to 60 in 6-8 MILES.)
