bachan is starof only 3 years, 1977 to 1979. his appearance in film is superb. action style is also unique.but in indian culture, no one can last long times with such limited talent. binod khanna is excellent in dacoit role, but also very limited. both are unsuitable as a elder brother of a big family, son of a widow mother, a perfect husband etc. but binid ji is better actor . he had depth of acting. jeetendra sub realized it and modify himself. so he ruled about 20 years. bachhan tried. but due to being very average actor, public refused so badly that those film name is not to known to anybody. so he had take support of rishi ,sashi, binod, satrughan sinha. in1982 he had only one hit film SHAKTI. in1983 0nly 4 films. he is so average that he came, with SHAHENSHA with childish film with childish dialague--reestey to tera---. to oveccome mithun sir, who has already done, dancedance,pyar jukta nahin, pyare bahena, and later prem pratigya, pyer ki mandir etc classic films.the versatile genius. he even tried to cast shadow over mithun sir with drunken voice. mithun sir totally changed south indian character built by MEHMOOD SUB. from 1971to 1995 bachann film was about 100 only.1983 to 1992 films nearly 15 . all are so flops that their producers did not dare to take him again. most of mithun da films cover remote cinema hall of of a state. about 100 films came cinema hall 5 0r 6 times after first realese. main ballwaan , andhi toofan etc severalnearby 50 fillms came afer 10 years, and was houseful. so each films did business about 8 to 30 crores from 1982 to 1995. in those days 4 crores means big hit. he left mumbai. so new comers get a chance. this is not insult to anybody. indian media continously insult him for past 40 years. and other stars. to make other bigger. this is fact.
