Patrick, I was on of your earliest subscribers, and I am so proud of how far you have come. I mean, you are hanging with Billy Strings!!! Thanks for everything you do to promote this style of music. ❤
That's real faithful to the Doc Watson version, and just rolls with it. He also incorporates a lick and riff from "freight train boogie", another Doc barn burner. Great tune!
Patrick, I’ve been watching your videos for a few years now. You are an amazing musician sir! It’s great to watch you play with somebody like Billy Strings. Keep up the good work!
Powerful lesson to be in the presence of Bluegrass Royalty. Your playing, Patrik , just took a big jump. Hope all is well !! Thanks for posting ! from Canada
Patrik, wow what a great experience right? You’re Gallagher sounded nice. I could tell you really enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing dude. What a dream!!
I noticed that his forearm is bounsing perpendicularly to top of the guitar. I think it's because of relaxation of forearm and wrist. All good flatpickers have that in common ( brayn sutton, norman blake ) (the ones that anchoring with fingers)
Pat's grin is as true as the ocean is blue. You can tell he is in the presence of his idol ❤️
Just the pure excitement and joy on your face is 100%. Love it.

That smile around 0:47 when billy goes bluesy is the best
If you know you know, that feeling is what it’s all about
It's amazing you got to jam with Billy, and the boys. The fact they were all down hangout assures me , the music is in the best of hands and hearts.

Great tune!
Odes like this to Doc are what makes Billy so endearing to me and I suspect the masses as well.
Love the Arthur Smith guitar boogie part. Looks like it gave you a good laugh too.

In my mind, the infamous "guy in the background from basement Dust in a baggie video" was slapping his thigh to the rhythm.
Fuhgeddaboutit !
How sweet was that Thompson?!
Better believe it! Sweet as it gets.
You guys sound might fine playing together.

Have you ever gotten a copyright claim on a song? If so how did you deal with it
Perhaps the birth of a child might rank up there with this experience 🙂
Sooooooo gooood.
