6:32 That big area in the middle of zone has a world boss. A big giant Dragon. The only way in is from the south side off the road. The dragon may, or may not be up. I don't know exactly how the spawn timers work on them. There are 4 total world dragon bosses. In SoD they repurposed those areas as repeatable quest areas for leveling.
13:10 ya, there are a number of Tailor recipes for + Fire damage. I stacked a bunch of that on my SoD Warlock for a time because Warlocks can also do fire damage. In SoD you could do Rain of Fire and early SoD it would leave an AoE on the ground that increased Fire damage taken. So, Fire gear + Rain of Fire, then Fire gear + Rain of Fire deduff + Hellfire and everything dies (including almost you because Hellfire also damages the Warlock casting. ;) Rain of Fire is just like Blizzard but MUCH "weaker" because it does not slow them. So, unless you got a tank keeping there, they just run out of it and attack you.
Those spiders remind me of the newest Pilav video. He's a youtube wow streamer, but only posts every few years. Anyway, apparently in retail they have an "arachnophobia" button in the menu that turns all the spiders into crabs in retail, lol.
5:40 reminds of an old PvP story in Duskwood. A friend and I were at the grave yard on the far side, where you are headed, and, somehow, a Horde Mage showed up there. We started chasing him east along the river, and ofc, he had Blink, but I had Minor Speed enchant to boots which was _just enough_ to keep him in sight the whole way. He was clearly trying to get ahead and cut south to go to Swamp of Sorrows to get away, but he couldn't out run me. We ended up chasing him all the way to Lakeshire. 😁 The fun of PvP servers. ;)
9:36 I think I mentioned like 99% of my solo hc unalives were DC's, but that GY to the left was on of my combat unalives. There are a couple green spider's that "paralyze" you and your character acts "locked up" for several seconds. You just can't move, there is almost no animation for the spell and that is the only mob in the game that does it, AFAIK.
7:58 I think you can Blink while webbed??? not sure, been long time. I don't think it removes it, I think you're just webbed 20 yards ahead, but it still 20 yards of progress. ;)
