I love ECCO shoes and have probably bought 7-8 pairs over the last 10 years (golf shoes and 4 pairs of Helsinki brown dress shoes over the years as one pair wears out, would get another). However, I had a pair of Ecco black dress shoes I bought at Dillards that were probably a couple years old but I only wore them occasionally. I was at a customer site doing a job walk when the heals on both pair literally fell apart on me. I sent pics and a note to their customer service and they couldn't be bother with even responding to me. Compare that to another shoe company I love to buy from: Brooks running shoes. I've bought several pairs of their "Beast" model. I had a pair that the footbed liner in a fairly new pair "rolled up" causing discomfort. I contacted their customer service to see if I could get a replacement footbed and they sent me a brand new pair of shoes. Ecco customer service not great if you have a problem with their shoes.

What I see is just some factories in Indian, Indoisian and Vietnam. Possible work in very bad condition and environment too.
It grieves me to write that Ecco are no longer the quality shoe they where in the 80's. They where made in either Denmark or Portugal. Now they are mostly made in the far east with several factories in China and Vietnam etc. Prices are high but the quality varies so much. IF one does purchase Ecco ensure the price is right. DO NOT buy from Ecco online direct nor their high street stores. Look for online bargains at places like Amazon at least one then gets what one pays for.

We should all remember that Ecco is still active in Russia despite the sanctions due to the Russian acts of war in Ukraine.
QUALITY???? OMG don't be silly. my shoes are crambling and falling a part only after 1 year of light use. you don't want to help me and many other's which are complaining on line. tipe : Ecco shoes desintegrating on line and you will read all I'm talking about it. now your solution is giving me a voucher of 20% off a new shoes ? give me a break . I've paid almost 200 dollars for mine. I"won't give up until you resolve my problem. Handcraft means nothing if your material is not good.

I bought ECCO boots and they also disintegrated into granules. They were
worthless and lasted less than a year. All of the Boots have the same
sole and their soles last less than a year. I bought two different type
boots and same problem. Don't buy ECCO boots...they're worthless.
