If you truly wanna stick with the "out with the OLD in with the new" mentality - here's a tip: put a sticky label on the back of each palette with the date you bought it/first used it - once it hits 3/6 months, assess how often you've reached for it. It'll make it easier to part with the item and make room for more.
I do this with foundations! I pop a sticker on the bottom with the date opened, and it’s SUPER helpful 😊
This is a really good idea. I need to get a fkn label maker. But my hubby is scared ill go around labeling EVERYTHING.... AND I WILL 🤔🤫🤫🤫🤪😅🤣🤣
@@buggiesmama11 haha I feel you! I just get the white labels you can pick up pretty cheap and just cut them into about 8, and then pop the labels on them 😊
What a great idea!! That's a good idea to do anyway to track products that could be expired, replaced or tossed for other reasons.
@@buggiesmama11 a fine Point Sharpie and masking tape will do the job just fine! You may need some of them to be very small!

Tati’s de-clutter videos are one of my favorites to watch ( the other is her empties videos). It’s helpful to know what she edited out as she reviews tons of product for the viewers. The ones that she ended up keeping are on my list to try. Thank you Tati for your insight in the beauty department. 👍🏼

I love the idea of the palettes in the background, its a new and different vibe and every month or so you can change out the displays from Lipsticks to Mascara's etc. I think it will look so stunning.

For the scott pallete to be that expensive, he needs to improve the packaging. We trust the formula because of you but come on he can do better than that.

He wanted the palette to be fully recyclable - that's why they're cardboard. Once they're finished, you can recycle the cardboard at places that accept it. I have travelled all over with them and they survive punishment very well, not fragile at all

I went through an eyeshadow palette obsession a few years ago and accumulated way too much for one person. I need to declutter badly… my sisters, cousins and friends will be thrilled!

I had a super bad allergic reaction to the LA Girl Desert Dream palette my eyes were so dry and red and irritated. Especially the lime green glitter shade. 😰 I wanted to love it so much!
The LA Girl Pro Mastery palette is SO GOOD. Its a top favorite. Affordable too! I have a few of their 9 pan palettes that are great for travel too. I am in shock that you do not have Huda Naughty Nudes. its such a good palette.

Nothing like a good declutter! As we get older, having things we never use or don’t grab much is one we don’t need. I’ve been decluttering fragrances I don’t even reach for much but just sits on my vanity collecting dust. I’ve put them away in a box and will figure out what to do with it later. I keep what I know is practical and what I reach for the most. Otherwise, we’re wasting a ton of money on unnecessary things that mean nothing to us.

Do you ever feel concerned about the fact that a lot of these brands use talc in their shadows/powders?
Talc in eye shadows doesn’t bother me as much as a regular face powder. I’ve never broke out from an eye shadow, even if I use it as a blush, but it only takes a day to break out from a powder with talc. I’m very sensitive to talc, so I feel like the talc isn’t as prominent in shadows. I think shadows are mostly pigments and other stuff since it seems to be a very different experience.
