This sounds so good! Wish there could be a remix like this. Blaze's voice sounds so much bigger like it should have! Will the whole album be available like this on your channel one day?
Hey, thanks! So nice to see people like my take on such an underated album, if only I had the actual tracks instead of self-made stems to work with! Here you can find not exactly the entire album but what I feel the album could've been like th-cam.com/play/PLDkO71qDi-HxhJzDAVQUyXvYYXEQmWMec.html
The way how you brought full potential of Blaze voice is amazing! And whole song is way more balanced, instead overlaud drumms, you brought bunch of guitar and vocal harmonyes..If Harris had you as a producer, this album would've been blockbuster! Hats down! :)
Couldn't agree more, I always hated the drums on the XFactor way to loud and quite frankly a bit boring for a drummer as good as Nicko, wished he'd used a full kit.
Great to see so much love for this album, I just wanted to give people a different perspective on it. In case you haven't yet listened to the whole album as such th-cam.com/play/PLDkO71qDi-HxhJzDAVQUyXvYYXEQmWMec.html
Thanks, man! The sole purpose of doing this was exactly to allow people to have a different perspective on what I think is a underated album. Glad you like it.
I can't believe it, for the 1st time since I got the XFactor in 1995 I don't hate the drums, still wish Nicko had used a full kit, but damn these drums are so much better.
@@austinhendry2933 I hear you, but to keep it closer to what I consider a "classic" Maiden album I had to draw the line somewhere. Have you listened to the whole project? th-cam.com/play/PLDkO71qDi-HxhJzDAVQUyXvYYXEQmWMec.html
By "revamping" I mean tweaking the album in many aspects. If you want me to break it down, I have edited and remixed the songs - not remastered, remixed from separate stems I was able to work with.
It occurred to me now that you may have stumbled upon my version of Sign Of The Cross without realizing it's part of a project envolving the entire album - here's the playlist to give you a better perspective on the revamped thing th-cam.com/video/Hc88WaJfcKA/w-d-xo.html

This and the final frontier are my fave maiden albums and this is just sublime. Honestly amazing

X Factor is a masterpiece.... I love your sound. Keep rocking!
What a great remix! You did a great job on making the album sound the way it should!!

@@RafaelAlt Definitely an underrated album. It’s one of my favorites. It made me a tremendous fan of Blaze, even to this day. I love his solo music.
I can't believe it, for the 1st time since I got the XFactor in 1995 I don't hate the drums, still wish Nicko had used a full kit, but damn these drums are so much better.
Glad you liked it - that's the whole reason i do these remixes, for us who think "what if", you know?
@@RafaelAlt yes I agree, we all think what if, just what if Martin Birch produced the XFactor.
An example that no Bruce is still a good Maiden. Btw I honestly like and respect Bruce and honestly love this band with all vocalists.
Fantastic job with this, are you gonna revamp The Aftermath as well by chance?
Thanks, Austin! I had considered The Aftermath at first, but gave it up in the end.
@@RafaelAlt That's fair, but unfortunate, I like that song enough to where I think it could stay on the album, 2AM's absence is totally fine though.

@@RafaelAlt I sure have, and I definitely get it! Edge of Darkness sounds like a totally different song, great job on that!
Blaze bayley.un buen album este
what does revamped mean exactly? did you do some mastering to already mastered track?
