Hi Tori, I have that same silver pitcher. It is real silver that was a wedding gift from Macys back in 1993. It is that color because it's tarnished, but if you use silver polisher, it should shine back to silver.

Hack for candlesticks.. light it and pour some of the melted wax into your candleholders. Then stick the candles in. Once it hardens, it acts like glue so your candles wont look topsy turvy or fall out.
