Travelling just to travel can really clear your mind and recharge a person. Great to watch too. I've travelled for about 60k km total in Europe alone, enjoyed it and came back relaxed and recharged every time! Enjoy, hope to try it out in that part of the world myself next year!
Tim K you feel you are losing patience, however given the circumstances I think you display enormous tolerance and patience. Enjoy yhe rest of your trip. I am enjoying watching your journey
San Juanico Bridge was Ferdinand Marcos’ birthday gift to Imelda Marcos that year. The lady was just concerned you are travelling alone as a foreigner. Most people travel with 1or 2 others, foreigner or not. Passing a double yellow line? It is maybe good if you won’t be involved in an accident but once you do- you’re out if luck. Keep on vlogging while travelling, Tim. It is great to watch your vloggs compared to other travel vloggers out there, different perspectives, different travel attittudes, different assessments. Compare/contrast.
I asked a filipina driving instructor about hand signals. She says put your hand out the window for left turn, passenger puts hand out window for right turn. I asked what if I don’t have passenger? No Robert, you will always have passenger 😂😂😂
Where are all the veggies at? Most times people order food it's always meat and rice. Is it just the restaurants? Samar is so beautiful! Especially that cutie at the resort.😍
1942 "Papiere bitte." 2021 "Papers please." You are close to Sohoton Caves and Lulugayan Falls which are worth seeing in Samar. Happy travels, if you are allowed.
Thanks for giving us a glimpse into the Philippines, Tim. Hope you get to enjoy the full freedom of travel around there soon. These checkpoints are a little over the top :D
Just up around the bend where the boat is coming from is where my missus comes from. Sugponon Samar. We have a house on the water there with a nippy hut in the river. Can't wait to get back
I have never been so excited to see a vlog series than this one 🖖👌🍆Love the gopro on helmet footage!! Iam mounting a gopro on my mando helmet along with battery bank and twin AirCon turbo fans inside the helmet for cooling.
Cool, Dude. I imagine taking this trip as well. Would be so much fun with the beaches and brackish water. Though, I don't drive/ride motorcycles that much. Safety issue. Stay safe and cool, Dude.
Hey Tim great job on all the videos and you're keeping the agro level to a minimum even though it's frustrating what are your options, people like me are sitting home back in California following your adventures and hoping I could do the same thing so keep it up bro only thing better to make the time go by would be to have Harold with you
Awesome tour Tim🙌 smart that White towel. I think your sound is realy good. Your doing IT whit the go pro right? I am amazed that its still such good hearable
@@DarrenExplorz I didn't see any evidence to support your statement. Any rational person would be frustrated given the circumstances, American or local. I think you are over-reaching.
Awesome trip Tim, thanks for taking us along. It was great to track your progress with google maps. Sorry about the red tape. Love your Honda PCX scoot, good sized fuel tank and frugal reducing range anxiety. Why did you cover your seat at the lunch stop? To dry your towel, or protect your seat? I enjoy the insight to life with Christin.
Where you never afraid your motorbike broke down there in the middle of practically nowhere? Or do you have the means to repair it yourself if necessary?
True, there is nothing more interesting than seeing the development of a 'build'. Last thing we saw was the dirt being delivered. It's just I am pretty curious how all those procedures go in The Philippines, how you get attached to services, if there are any building guidelines (based on your average Filipino town you would say no, lol), but also building method, because Leyte is also prone to hurricanes.
Holàá Wassup bro... is ths tha same bridge you nd Baldr stopped in for a bit couple yrs bk? looks tha same. as well as 'Wonder Boy-Jeremy' tha time he stopped in to see baby Dale? You hv a gr8 wkend ...make good choices, keep safe, keep hydrated nd keep kool!!
When you asked why passports are so different at each location did they turn into statues? It reminds me of the video where you were in the airport around some people from China. lol
Based on my observation, all traffic laws are a suggestion. LOL But the people there are cautious, not like in the US. You have to be extremely alert. Cars, buses, trucks, trikes, cycles, people, carabau, dogs, chickens, construction, missing sections of road, piles of coconuts or bamboo, I even saw utility poles in the traffic area of a mountain road. So what I'm trying to say is, what laws?
As a surfer I have the same idea about visiting Samar for its surf potential, like you already surfed sarigao. Looking forward to return to southern leyte, we could do a surf trip.
It’s good sometimes that you both respect on what others want to do, or what others called “me time”. Keep on sharing beautiful places here in the Philippines 🥰 keep safe always 😊
Wish that you gave heads up on your travels sometime. I could suggest some interesting things to do. I have traveled around Leyte and Samar and could give you places to visit that would be interesting sites. For instance two years ago my wife and i were visiting Samar when a very special occasion was taking place. I was even interviewed by 3 major networks in the Philippines about my feelings on the subject taking place. Maybe next time you make a trip to Samar you will do a trip to this very important place in history of the Philippines. The Balangiga bells are three church bells that were taken by the United States Army from the Church of San Lorenzo de Martir in Balangiga, Eastern Samar, Philippines, as war trophies after reprisals following the Balangiga massacre in 1901 during the Philippine-American War.
Man, travelling is really hard there. I have been to the Dominican republic last month, and no Test required for entry and in the whole country no tests required, nor S-Pass and all that... Safe trip!
So Tim is the S pass because of covid? I'm coming in October to get married and live in san remigio, Cebu were building our home, but all these papers and passes are concerning to me regards Billy
Glad you stopped when you did and shared those beautiful spots, makes me want to come see for myself and explore, thanks for the great vlog.

Great video. All of those BS regulations are meant to discourage travel. Your unhappiness about it all is totally understandable.
