The biggest problem with Assail is when you have to shoot out every shard first and then switch to melee and then while you switching and left clicking, because you already have to swing, just by switching weapons (I'm still not sure why, but I blame the connection) it keeps shooting Assail and since you did not manage to switch the boom happens, so the best thing I do now to prevent this is to stop at 80% of the periles, then if you somewhy don't switch the next Assail won't kill you and you can switch weapons slower to be shure...
No, I've been playing on PC since release and I'm pretty sure it's almost impossible to beat the highest levels on PS with a controller, maybe you're a pro console player and you have a different perspective on this matter. As far as I know, the PS version just came out. So I can give all new players a piece of advice. The best thing is to go through 2-3 normal levels with your first operative, while you do that you will find friends there and together with them you will level up your main to level 30, while you do that it will also be a good idea to check out other classes so you know their strengths and weaknesses. After that you will be ready to go through level 4-5 normal missions, then to level 4-5 auric, then check out maelstorms and do The Twins (special order mission), then when you have good gear you can try to go for Havoc, that would be my advice. Instead of just running to the hardest one from the beginning. Also it's better to do all the maelstorms, plus go through and learn all the maps, and how to play with a team, stick together, etc. It is impossible to carry in Havoc alone, not even all auric players are prepared properly. One thing about high level Havoc, we pick at least 35++ people for 35+ missions because it's insanely hard. And it's better to do all the missions, at least I did 16-40 without skipping any, so you can gain knowledge on how to build your champions and what's good and bad. About randoms, I also had a lot of random teammates and many of them were not ready for Havoc, I usually add someone after the game, if I am comfortable playing with them, so we can help each other in the future...
