“Mr. Irrelevant” is the term used for the player who is the FINAL selection in each NFL Draft.
The term has become widely used by football fans and pundits over the years. The name seems harsh at first. You can interpret it as a way of saying “This guy is going to be a nobody. Hence, he’s irrelevant.”
Well, the whole “Mr. Irrelevant” thing is actually kind of nonsense. Several guys who were selected with the very last pick of the draft actually managed to have somewhat successful NFL careers.
Today we present the 10 greatest Mr. Irrelevants in NFL History.

It really doesn't matter who you pick at that point. Not like someone would trade up to the last pick?

I agree with Ryan Succop being at #1. I actually got a chance to visit his house and meet him after a Chiefs game back in 2010. My best friend’s mom worked with his aunt and she took us to a game with her. He was a super nice and down to earth guy. It felt very surreal sitting on an NFL player’s couch though. Lol
I'm calling it now, Ryan succop drafted by the Chiefs.
NMJ 88 obviously
I mean, it’s much easier for a kicker since they are often signed late or go undrafted.
yup. actually, kicker, punter or fb have more chance to last longer, because those positions will be drafted later rounds or just undrafted.
Nfl draft picks that looked like huge reaches but turned out good anyways

Do top 10 college teams that could beat NFL teams(I hope this isn't already done)
That'd be hard since there's none of them
DestroxFN no college team could beat an NFL team...
@@cainnedrow7724 what if it was a super super bad NFL team?
Like the 0-16 browns?
@@ainampmav The 0-16 Browns and the 0-16 Lions are still comprised of the best football players from college. Arguably the greatest NCAA football team is the 95 Cornhuskers. They had 3 1st team, 1 2nd team, 2 3rd team, and 3 honorable mentions on the All-America team.
That 0-16 Lions team in 2008 featured:
Daunte Culpepper: 3x Pro Bowler, 1st team all pro, 2nd team all pro and the previous NCAA record holder for highest season passing percentage.
Jerome Felton: Pro bowler and 2nd team all pro
Rudi Johnson: Pro bowler, SEC player of the year, and Season rushing record for the bengals
Kevin Smith: NCAA All American
Calvin Johnson: 6x Pro bowler, 3x 1st team All Pro, 2nd team All Pro, 2x Receiving leader, Receptions leader, Receiving Touchdowns leader, NFL record for season receiving yards, Biletnik Award winner, ACC player of the year, and 2x 1st team All American
Stephen Peterman: All American
Dominic Raiola: Rimington Award winner and All American
And that's just what their offense accomplished. The NFL is comprised of the best players from college at every position. If they played a collegiate team they would just expose their weak points. Every team, even Clemson and Alabama, have a couple starters who won't go pro and those are the players that will completely lose them a game against pro players.

Ryan Succop is a great guy. I got to meet him and hang out at his house before a Sunday Night Football game around 2010-2011. My best friend’s mom worked with his aunt so he hooked us up with some DOPE seats. He’s an awesome dude and it was a great time. Glad he made #1 on this list!

I knew 1998’s Mr. Irrelevant, Cam Quayle, before Baltimore picked him. He made their practice squad, later went to Jacksonville, then played for the Barcelona Dragons in NFL Europe, before a neck injury ended his career. He’s now a pediatric dentist, and did wonders for my daughter.
Also on Ryan Succop:
He almost singlehandedly (singlefootedly?) provided the Chiefs' win over the previously 13-0 Green Bay Packers when they played in 2011. Final score: 19-14. Succop was the contributor of 13 of those points (4 FG, XP).
