Thank you for posting and all your hard work providing us with these clips! I thought this was a terrific episode for them...great acting and realistic...
Thank you, May, for the vid and excellent translation! Loved the bit of angst. Loved beautiful, sad Olli. Also loved Charlie giving advice and wanting to help out. I think a case of champagne can fix a lot of things;)
Thank you so much Mercury for all the work you're doing with the clips and subtitles. I couldn't enjoy Chrolli storyline so much if it wasn't for you :D
I'm a bit sad, today. I always find a good excuse for Christian's behaviour. I can't resist. But today... well... it was bad. And I "hated" the end, Olli alone in the living-room with Lilly. I felt like crying. On an opposite note: I loved the CPS lady. Really sweet. And, of course, Jo and Thore's acting. They just rock the drama scenes. And you rock, too, MM. Thanks for everything.
Thanks hun for today's emotional episode. I have a food allergy and even being ever so careful I sometimes eat food I am allergic to without realizing. I can understand Olli thinking he was being careful and then feel guilty afterwards. Although it seems harsh, Christian's immediate lashing out at Olli is natural when you fear losing a child. He realized quite quickly he was wrong. Hopefully, this is a just a bump in the road of their relationship which is part of the drama in all soaps.
continued it was good to see, that Christian understands that he was unfair and apologize but it was a little bit odd, that they don't get a real hug and in the end there was Olli alone with Lilly, seems like a little cut in their relationship :( Jo and Thore make a stunning performance, was a really good episode thx May
Thanks for today's episode. The boys' performances were very good and they got the right tension. Parents would and do blame each other for these kinds of things, and since Christian was ranting about Miriam or Anna or some stranger giving food to Lily right before Olli's confession, placing the blame on Olli worked. In the logic of the moment the anger wasn't misplaced. That Christian later realized his error on his own and then apologized goes a long way.
Danke May...How I LOVE this ep. what I want to say is already in all you guys comment... but one thing that impress me most besides Jo&Thore's great acting skill is their cloths today,Chrolli is f**king gorgeous ten times than ever,Love them :)
@PlatypusRising55 he held her, when her father Fritz came to the flatshare and had her on his lap in the episode about the calendar-shooting but yes I think Jo is a little bit more comfortable with babies ;)
@jarobbins35 I couldn't agree more ... Relationship of any kind is not always a "bed of roses", especially marriage. Christian was unfair to Olli? Yes he was but also recognized he was wrong and apologized ... That's is no reason for a breaking up for God sake!
Olliegast, I just wanted to thank you for responsing to my reply on your comment for this episode. I appreciate your view and will hope that it come true. Thank you for your continued support and response.
I love Chrolli and love the fact they're treated like other couples, being married doesn't mean you don't argue anymore, at the end of the day the most important thing is that you love your husband/partner/companion and your children
it was a beautiful ep between the boys. we all say things we don't mean when something like this happens but, the main thing is the apology. we can only be thankful it wasn't anything more serious Chrollie 4ever
Thank you May, as always. We'll have to wait to see but I think Olli may be in living room with Lilly because he is now going to overcompensate and be afraid to leave her alone At ALL. Hints are given in dialogue and as an Aunt I panicked once and had to have a niece pried out of my arms. For those thinking this will lead to break up, that didn't occur to me until I read it but we'll see.
I love this show because all conflicts in Chrolli storyline are so real and could happen to anyone. Today's episode was so powerful and emotional because what happened to Olli could happen to anyone (even Christian's reaction to Olli) no matter how careful we are. Having said I must say (and Mattia will hate ... LOL) that Christian was completely unfair. It's true he felt nervous because Lilly's health condition but he overdid. However, we can't get mad at him for too long, neither Olli!
@scarpien Here Here, we have to stand against the "Chrolli Break Up" brigade. No ways. They are the best and we need them. Jo and Thore are the best actors I've seen on TV and I need the romance between Christian and Olli. Angst from time to time is good, but not a break up, that will kill the show. I am also a fan of Jo and Thore's facial comunications, I love it, the boys have mastered unspoken dialogue like no one else on TV, keep it up guys, you are doing us a service with your talents.
@estee12121212 Make sure you have the latest updates of all the necessary programs (like adobe flash player). If you do and the closed captions are not working, then it's a TH-cam problem in your area, and all you can do is wait for YT to fix it. In the meantime you can use the interactive transcript. Press the small button on the left of the view count. Each line is highlighted as it is said. OR watch the video with embedded English subs on MM02 (see link in the info box). :)
Seems to me as over the years many fans forgot how many Chrolli kisses, sex scenes and lovely quality times we were lucky enough to witness and became too much about the SEX.Personally I love watching Thore and Jo in daddy roles and still appreciate what this soap has given us:A RESPECTIVE PORTRAYAL OF 2 PEOPLE THAT ARE HAPPEN TO BE MEN IN LOVE.
@briankinneybrother he not only said a simple sorry he said, that he knows, that it could happen everyone and that he should not shout at Olli, when he blames himself what else should he have said? yes Christian was harsh when he shouts, but I think in such a situation it is not unnormal I could understand, when Olli not forgives so easy, but they are married, a bigger fight is not immediately a reason to break up they love each other, they should cope with this situation and work it out
@Capc186, sometimes first time parents think the way Olli do when something happens to their child(ren). I heart really went out to Olli when he was beating himself for being a bad parent. Chrolli got to learn; when they give Lily any food, they have to make sure they supervise her so she won't choke on the food, until she's able to swallow on her own.
@olliegast. I'm referring to your comment about someone actually missing Mr. "Call Me Robp!" LOL Max is a good actor but that character Rob. . . one of a kind. He makes Ansgar look like an angel.
Awwww!, May dear, this episode was pretty sad, but at the same time as said Olliegast, pretty real! That is what happened with family, a couple when something like that happens to our kids especially in their first years, it is like crazy, we know nothing and we want to know everything. So we always do something we regret later. We blame each other , and do exactly what Christian did. Not defending him, he was unfair, but this happens. Be sure people they won't split because of that! tks MM
@pemberley23W You are so right here. As a vilian I liked Rob as he tested the relationship betwean Chrolli. I have watched the reconcilliation ep again between Chrolli before the end of Rob, where they sit and talk to decide whether it is worth continueng or not. It is such a simple scene, and yet so emotional, one can't help but feel for both Christian and Olli, and without Rob the scene could not happen, therefore I thank the show for such a strong villian as Rob, but he is over and done.
@azaszemi2008, I agree I hope Olli do listen to the case worker, her words ring true; there's no such thing as a perfect parent in the world, if so there wouldn't be that many dysfunctional parents or adults in the world.
Ok, I see whats going on. Christian is acting just like a father who came home or walk in and seen his child hurt, and blame the mother for not paying attention. in this case there both a fault, no one was paying her any attention. But, poor Olli is takeing the heat. So, I get why Christian is up set with Olli, but, Olli is human an new as a father and parent. He will make mistakes, and so will Christian. Just wait and see.
@jimenezjpyta Sebastian couldn't forgive Hagen that he left years ago the family, after their mother died and the disappearing of their father (he was in prison, but the Lahnsteins thought he is dead) Sebastian has to take care alone of Helena, Tristan and Rebecca, Hagen was away and nobody knew were he was
Christian reaction about Lilly is normal because he's a parent. When you're in that sort of situation, sometimes you say things you don't mean. Stop hating haters :/ But loved how they forgave each other, would've been a perfect moments if they ended with a kiss. Great acting Thore and Jo, so believeable!!!! :D
The social worker's appearance and observations, Chrolli's interaction with her, the music, and the overall mood--at first--suggested stereotypical soap disaster for Chrolli and Lilly, but became a turnaround when she concluded that Lilly couldn't have found a better place, not in spite of, but because of it being a "well-lived, clean chaos... very human, very warm, very likeable." I like that. I've liked Chrolli from the get-go; now I'm starting to like VL (as opposed to just Chrolli).
@ZamTx1 -- Actually I'm glad they didn't stretch this any longer. I was not going to watch until this arc was at least this far, though they could push it further just with Olli becoming obsessive. Let's hope this portion was as bad as this will get for now. If this arc had gone on for other segments, I was going to check for when this was better then watch them all or the last one only. I don't think of it as a filler.
@egoldston100 I'm glad you feel that way. That's what i love most about them. For me they are a couple who love each other and who happens to be gay. Which is why, in my opinion, they've been together for so long and their relationship evolved so much. Besides, Thore and Jo are great and are doing a wonderful job.
wow, this episode was full of emotion: fear, anger, relief, self-doubt, regret, love it was a difficult situation for our boys, thatswhy I can understand that Christian overacts a little bit, because Olli was careless Christian has lost loved ones and he didn't want to lose the next, but a better way: give each other comfort in such a situation Olli blames himself enough, thatswhy I think Christians reaction was a little bit to harsh and hurts Olli a lot tbc
@genevievewyatt As a crook (irgh) Rob never was really interested in Olli. He just wanted Christian away from Olli so he could use NL as a place to sell drugs. As @coyleJ said, Charlie's words 'break up' has people a bit rattled but @theflwer45641 is right and there is no reason to keep talking about breaking up. I am sure that Christian and Olli love will prevail!!
@kandismann77 Chrolli are just not living together --- they're married. That means commitment and not running when they fight. That's what's so cool about the fact that they are married. They love each other and work this stuff through.
Thanks so much for the upload and the subs May, greatly appreicated dear! :) - Lately when I watch Chrolli I seem to have a really intense reaction - sometimes full of sadness - but having read all the comments and watched this episode a few more times - I feel differently. This was such an amazing episode, so full of drama and raw emotion - like others have said I don't like Christian's behaviour towards Olli but I can fully understand it, and find it to be very realistic in a situation ...tbc
Many of you are saying that this episode was awful to Chrolli's relationship and etc, but I don't think like this. Christian loves Olli, and he's really sorry about the way he talked to Olli before. They haven't been with Lilly for long, they're just nervous.
@hawkhunter2487 For God sake, who on earth is missing (irghh) Rob? Honestly, I can't believe anyone can miss the most despicable character I've ever seen in this show.
@mitsaso I hang on every word you say and agree with you. I am a huge fan of Chrolli and I feel just like you on this point. They are just natural people doing natural things in a natural surrounding with human emotions and human reations. They love each other, and they love Lilli. In the same position would anyone else react differently? If so you cannot be human. It does not mean that Chrolli love each other less, Christian is just concerned for Lilli at that moment,
@hawkhunter2487, you are absolutely right, people today think having a fight warrants a divorce or a break, to me that's a person who is to into themselves to care about others feelings. I'm not a parent, but my mom has 5 and I'm her 5th child, and let me tell you she was always nerve when anything happened to me, so its natural for Christian to feel the way he felt, it doesn't me he love Olli less just b/c of that one incident. There would probably be others.
@jarobbins35 LOL I knew I would find a few references to those "rear views." But Olli's adoring looks @10:34 onward as Christian apologized. That look melts my heart everytime he does it. There's NO WAY they are breaking up. I won't allow it!! LOL
@maryblueXXX Totally agree. Where I think the SL diverts from real life is that in real life, couples often hold grudges far longer than need be and/or lack the humility to come around and admit to being wrong and/or the courage to be the first to say "i'm sorry".
My only quibble with today's episode is that the show uses Cholily as a place-holder. All the other characters are in the middle of longer arcs. The show could have easily made this at least a two-episode mini arc but chose not to so they could spend more time with the crazy people living in Konigsbrunn.
@theflwer45641 I totally agree to you. These things happen when you have a toddler or a small child. Take this from a mom who experience small crisis to more serious crisis with a daughter. As a parent, you are human and will make mistakes. I think this crisis that happened in this episode was realistic. I agree that married couple have fights and make up. This is just part of life. It makes the couple grow and understand each other more. Don't break them up. I am a huge fan.
@USAcountryfann. Food allergies are a weird thing I learned with my ex. He is allergic to shellfish so he doesn't eat it. I, on the other hand, love shrimp and lobster, etc. One day I consumed shellfish for lunch and kissed him later that evening, and he had a mild reaction. For the life of us we couldn't figure out why since he didn't eat any shellfish, and it didn't even occur to me that my kissing him was the culprit. So, as the social worker said, things happen.
Charlie thinking that they might split up because of the words they exchanged at the hospital was quite exaggerated. She should know they love each other far too much for that to happen.
@BruceDBennett **IF** the show had treated Rob as more than a two dimensional cartoon villain, taking the more dangerous route with Olli might have been worth the drama and the cheating. But the show didn't, and our boys were spared. I'm glad Christian and Olli are still a strong couple and role models.
LOL @BruceDBennett. I don't think we have anything to worry about. I'm almost certain they won't break up. Did you see the way they looked at each other as Christian "apologized?!"
@olliegast I've watched this show twice now since the start, and I love it. mainly because of the Romantic story line between Christian and Olli which we as gay people have been deprived of, and I mean a good gay romance like Chrolli. And the next best thing about Chrolli is Jo and Thore's acting skills. For a TV show they are unique and the best. I am not attracted to Thore sexually, which a lot of people are, I just love to watch his facual expressions, & Jo, well, they are both great.
Wow, people, i know Christian's behavior was out of line today but let's not jump onto the "Olli should dump him omg he's so awful" boat! He's a parent! When something happens to a child, the parent always flips out, and while it may not be fair to blame the other parent, it's natural in situations like this. He apologized, Olli's entitled to be angry but people make mistakes when they're in emotionally vulnerable situations. Give him a break!
C'mon guys, the show is not only about our guys but about others also, or else it would be a definitely waste of time show. If there aren't anything happen except our boys kissing and showing their love, we definitely wouldn't be able to make comments others than "oh, their kiss is so hot/cute/passionate" only :p
@BDRoland -- No hate here, just disagreement. Of course, I love Jo's work but I also appreciate the difficulty of Thore's. Christian has to lose it while being the more restrained one. O is relentless while C attacks. If he does the same as Jo then there is no need for 2 actors/characters. Just Jo or Thore could carry it all. There MUST be a discernable difference unless, of course, the show or segment is about no difference between the characters.
@546djv when was they last time that had any sort of romantic moment, or those sexy moments? i love chrolli, and their love is amazing but come on, would it kill the writers to put in a little something something? ;)
Thank you for posting and all your hard work providing us with these clips!
I thought this was a terrific episode for them...great acting and realistic...
I love the drama. Jo and Thore are awesome at it! thank you for the clip mercury
The song is 'A line in the dirt' by Eels. The song right after that one is 'Baby, you survived' by Justin Currie.
Thanks MercuryMay for all you do. I enjoyed todays episode very much. Christian should do something to make it up to Olli.
It's me again because I must say that Jo and Thore performance is truly praiseworthy. Great acting indeed.
i love how this episode focuses on family and parent's love for their kids. makes me appreciate my parents more :)))
Thanks hun for today's emotional episode. I have a food allergy and even being ever so careful I sometimes eat food I am allergic to without realizing. thanks, mercurymay for that huge amount of translating... we really appreciate it
:o)
can´t stop watching this vids.Great job MM. Thanks a lot
continued
it was good to see, that Christian understands that he was unfair and apologize
but it was a little bit odd, that they don't get a real hug and in the end there was Olli alone with Lilly, seems like a little cut in their relationship :(
Jo and Thore make a stunning performance, was a really good episode
thx May
@UreFox The show is called 'Verbotene Liebe' (Forbidden Love). It's a German soap.
lilly's so cute it hurts! thanks for the subs!xxxx
@BruceDBennett Chrolli is really great and all this discussion about yesterday's episode shows this storyline moves people around the world.
Danke May...How I LOVE this ep.
what I want to say is already in all you guys comment...
but one thing that impress me most besides Jo&Thore's great acting skill is their cloths today,Chrolli is f**king gorgeous ten times than ever,Love them :)
@PlatypusRising55
he held her, when her father Fritz came to the flatshare and had her on his lap in the episode about the calendar-shooting

@hawkhunter2487 Yes my friend, they are, they certainly are ... and I am glad for that!
Ok, call me hollow but Christian wearing that sweater and Olli in that tight T-shirt ... Wow, the boys looked stunning!!!
Olliegast, I just wanted to thank you for responsing to my reply on your comment for this episode. I appreciate your view and will hope that it come true. Thank you for your continued support and response.

@shak15ti. LOL You guys got me cracking up today with your comebacks!
Love it when Christian jumps over the couch!
Thank you May, as always. We'll have to wait to see but I think Olli may be in living room with Lilly because he is now going to overcompensate and be afraid to leave her alone At ALL. @japert00 It was the one the paramedics used.
Let's not be too hard on our boy Christian --- it's his passion that we love so much! (not to mention his face and body as well :)
@egoldston100 I'm glad you feel that way. That's what i love most about them. For me they are a couple who love each other and who happens to be gay. wow, this episode was full of emotion: fear, anger, relief, self-doubt, regret, love
it was a difficult situation for our boys, thatswhy I can understand that Christian overacts a little bit, because Olli was careless
Christian has lost loved ones and he didn't want to lose the next, but a better way: give each other comfort in such a situation

@scarpien OMG my friend, I made so many comments last night that I'm completely lost now. What are you talking about?
The narrating part reminds me of desperate housewives where thy hv the narrating part starting and beginning. :)
What did Olli found next to the cookies?? some sort of jeringe? What is it supposed to mean?
Thanks so much for the upload and the subs May, greatly appreicated dear! :) - Lately when I watch Chrolli I seem to have a really intense reaction - sometimes full of sadness - but having read all the comments and watched this episode a few more times - I feel differently. @wonderlandalice1. So true. They've been giving HelAndi and Phillico a good much bed time lately but seem to neglect our Chrolli.
Many of you are saying that this episode was awful to Chrolli's relationship and etc, but I don't think like this.
Christian loves Olli, and he's really sorry about the way he talked to Olli before.
They haven't been with Lilly for long, they're just nervous.

@jarobbins35 LOL I knew I would find a few references to those "rear views."
But Olli's adoring looks @10:34 onward as Christian apologized.
You tell em @olliegast!! But honestly, I can think of one person off hand who will def disagree with you and she posts here too. LOL Hey ms. t. ;o)
@menRmemorable Perfect!
wow! such an intense episode :(
My only quibble with today's episode is that the show uses Cholily as a place-holder. All the other characters are in the middle of longer arcs. The show could have easily made this at least a two-episode mini arc but chose not to so they could spend more time with the crazy people living in Konigsbrunn.
@olliegast I couldn't agree more with you, dear friend!
Damn it Olli its not your fault its happens to everyone
@willow97 you forget something... technically, Olii DID almost kill the child. Christian only pointed that out... :P
@theflwer45641
I totally agree to you.
@Alicia11AA I would like to hear your theory..as I have one of my own..not here of course...maybe a personal message ...
when was the last time Christian and Olli kiss? I can't remember when...
@olliegast now we are talking!! 100% agreed!
adorable! >.
didn't that woman read the file? how can she not know about the living arangements?
What's going on between Sebastian and Hagen?
Who's the bloke in the wheelchair right at the end??
@USAcountryfann. Food allergies are a weird thing I learned with my ex. He is allergic to shellfish so he doesn't eat it. I, on the other hand, love shrimp and lobster, etc. One day I consumed shellfish for lunch and kissed him later that evening, and he had a mild reaction. For the life of us we couldn't figure out why since he didn't eat any shellfish, and it didn't even occur to me that my kissing him was the culprit. So, as the social worker said, things happen.
good !!!
@changezthezworldz Yes! But I can't say I'm a big fan of it... maybe it'll grow on me!
@plumctplactzoom what can I say, I am completely into beauty!! LOL
@olliegast An episode so sad like that and you still had time to focus on thagt?? YOU OLLIEGAST!!!
LOL @BruceDBennett. I don't think we have anything to worry about. I'm almost certain they won't break up. Did you see the way they looked at each other as Christian "apologized?!"
Lilly may be allergic to nuts, I am surely not!!
@546djv when was they last time that had any sort of romantic moment, or those sexy moments? i love chrolli, and their love is amazing but come on, would it kill the writers to put in a little something something? ;)
