  • Located at the heart of the South West, Plymouth is a city by the sea with so much to offer. With an amazing quality of life, stunning waterfront location, buzzing city centre and fascinating maritime history, there is quite simply nowhere better to live, work and play than Britain's Ocean City.

I'm looking to live in a UK town that is similar to Cape Town and I think I just found it. Great video. I hope the place matches up.

Ita a shithole. Dont move there. Absolutely shite. Go to dorset or Brighton and hove. As a cornish man. I can say with out a doubt. Plymouth sucks ass.

Why is there only 262 subscribers and only 5,000 people who watched this? Come on. Plymouth is a very good city and local area to live in.

Remote from London, relatively low housing costs, lovely environment around the city, relatively good climate for the UK, general friendly area. Downsides, yes, it has social problems, we all know that locally, Swilly, the list goes on, it has been a problem for centuries, with slum problems historically, but there are areas of the city that are relatively good. Overall it is a good city for the UK, could be better, but the post war rebuilding, which did clear the slums, has been less than desirable. From Cornwall, in a town just 30 miles to the west, that also has similar social problems. To those us from the region, this is the centre of Janner, Jan being Devonian for John, meaning some one who is a John (a Devonian). Unfortunately a pejorative now, known locally as Janner town.
