    Got the black one 8/256GB, very happy with the experience. I leave it on 120Hz because the "auto" setting looks like it uses less than 90Hz while scrolling the browser and such, and the battery still lasts me almost 2 days.

    I am not sure how good is the Zenfone 10 compared to the Zenfone 9 but I got the Zenfone 9 last year and I was impressed about all the good features that this phone brings: headphone jack, battery life, battery charging speed, speakers (better bass than the S22/S23), one hand experience, how it fits in my pocket, the option to edit the status bar icons, swipe down 3 fingers to screenshot, changing animations without activating Developer Options, system preference Stock Android or Asus Optimized selection, refresh rate selection (60hz, 90hz, 120hz or Auto Refresh) and many more features. My biggest disappointment about this phone is the picture quality, video quality is good though. Thanks for the video!

      Did you have issues with split screen on the Zenfone 9 where the app on top leaves a chunk of the bottom part on top of the screen when you exit split screen?

  • @sreviews6397
    @sreviews6397 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Another reason to opt for this mobile phone over others is that it comes with plug head, cable, phone case and screen protector applied whilst other mobile companies dont give any of these things but still charge much more than asus.

    Traded in my Pixel 7 for this and i absolutely love it. Made me feel like i had my Pixel 5 again. The phone is an absolute beast! I'm getting 7hr SOT (i dont play games) performance is way better than that stupid Tensor G2 chip and the cameras are great! More than enough for anyone. Unles you're a TH-camr that gets paid to review phones but for the average person you'll love them. The whole only 2 years of OS updates aren't a big deal. Moat people upgrade everything 3 years anyways. Moat tech is outdated in 3 years anyways. Better cameras come out and the phones battery cant hold a change anymore. Wont regret getting this phone. I love it.

    Seems to be a great smaller flagship phone that most people who have used it seemed to really like. Unless someone really wants that small size and the headphone jack, I think it's still a tough sell at $700. I have to respectfully disagree with you on this one. The S23 even with a bigger screen has the same footprint to the ZenFone 10. It offers way better cameras and software support, the only thing the ZenFone 10 has over the S23 is a headphone jack and stock(ish) Android skin. Unfortunately Asus ZenFone series are also known to suffer from sudden motherboard failure. I'd go for a S23 over the ZenFone 10 if I was looking for a compact Android device.

    @techodyssey What do you think about the fact a 16GB RAM and 512GB HD option is available for only $100 more. That's 2x Ram and 4x storage for only $100. That would be $900 at Apple. I think if you want massive ram, storage and battery for a work or ultra-long-haul travel phone, this one is great (especially if you carry a second phone for photos/videos). At 8GB ram and 128Gb it's not a good deal. I do wish Samsung S23 would offer 16Gb and 512/1TB on their small S23

    I'm personally also more of a fan of small screens, especially with the 19.5:9 screen ratio instead of the more cinematic 20.9 ratio's. In short, I prefer wider and less taller displays because it's easier to use the keyboard and stuff like that and I have short fingers 😊.

    It’s unfortunate to hear about the mediocre speaker sound quality as the zenfone 10 was checking almost all other boxes for me. It seems like the Sony Xperia 5 V is my last hope, assuming it releases in the US and AT&T fully supports it. I use my phone speakers all the time on my Z Flip 3. More importantly, I’ve found that I only like physical fingerprint readers. The screen-based fingerprinted reading simply does not work well at all compared to traditional readers, and face recognition is always unlocking when I don’t want it to on my work phone.
    The only thinking keeping me away from a new Z flip is the price combined with absolutely horribly resale value.. lower than any phone I’ve ever had before. And the camera is a bit too average overall. I still could end up with a ZF10 I can’t find anything better but I’d need to find a extra small portable speaker option of decent quality.

    • @virtuososo
      @virtuososo ปีที่แล้ว

      I just read that Sony isn't releasing the 5 V in North America, bui instead pushing the 1 V. Ugh. I was waiting for the smaller one. So now it's Zenfone (9 or 10) or finally give up on an audio jack and go with Pixel or Galaxy. I'd say I hate Apple for paving the way of no audio jack, but I already hated them ;-).
