Two days before I was born, my mom had a dream... She dreamed that she's underneath the ground, in a dark black place, with no place to run away. She heard a baby crying, and she ran to search for him, but she couldn't find him in the darkness. So she started crying anad praying for our savior Jesus and our beloved mother Mary. Shortly after, she was lifted to the sky, and she could see that our mother Mary was holding the baby up high, and light was coming out of Mother Mary and the baby, and the baby was smiling. Jesus was standing next smiling too. Two days after this dream, I was born in St. Vincent's French hospital in Nazareth (The Holy Land), and my mom could swear that the baby she saw in the dream was me, since the baby in the dream had blue eyes (we're Middle Eastern and no one in the family have blue eyes), and I was born with blue eyes (the color switched to brown, a year or two after). I love Mama Mary, and I have a special connection to her, because of this magnificent dream. She took care for me even when I was in my mother's womb, before I was born. Praise Jesus and Hail Mary.

FYI, Ignatius Press re-edited this film, (which was a European mini-series), into a feature film format and brought it to theaters in the USA and Canada. They did an excellent job of it and they have the rights over it, so that is possibly why you may not be able to find it in its entirety online.

The Church in heaven (Mary, saints, angels, etc.) is in communion with us, the Church on earth. We are all bound by our love for Our Lord Jesus Christ. Mary, is so rich a character on the screen, but how much her quiet determination & strength must have been evident to Joseph, so that he believed her, & took her into his household. Im pretty sure that most, if not all, questions that non-Catholics have for our Blessed Virgin Mary has already been answered. (Probably way before you congregation has been established) Maybe if you will just take your time to read the answers from credible Catholic website then you would find the answers that you are looking for. There are actually a lot of them on the internet. So before ridiculing us for honoring our Lord's mother (4th commandment: Honor thy father and thy mother), please educate yourself first.

This movie especially looks very uplifting and powerful! Hope to be able to see it sometime. Since watching 'The Bible' series on History Channel my faith in the Lord and the relevance of his holy words to my life have been uplifted and encouraged. I've a feeling this film will do it for many :)

The movie was a very good. There are some errors in the movie but all in all a very good movie. It is worth seeing.
Does anyone know if it (heretically) shows Mary in pains of labour, like the "Nativity Story" movie which came a few years ago and was offensive to any Christian in several ways? The church teaches that due to her immaculate conception Mary did not suffer when giving birth to Christ, and indeed the saints teach that he came out of her womb like "light through a window".

I want to see this so bad. I was at a retreat a few weeks ago and got to see a preview for it.. I was only able to watch about the first 15 minutes of it and was so sad when I couldn't continue watching it. it is really good though from what I saw.

I like the trailer. To me, It brings so much more depth to the Mary we saw in the Passion of the Christ. Mary, is so rich a character on the screen, but how much her quiet determination & strength must have been evident to Joseph, so that he believed her, & took her into his household. Rabbi Yesuwah bin Josephus , could You have been born into any other family, I just don't see how.
Christ wasn't black, neither was Mary. The 12 tribes scattered all over the globe. They cover every shade.
