This is so helpful! I should have found your tutorial earlier. However I already built my report with many blank pages. It does have hidden columns when I export it to excel. But there’s only one unit. I also adjusted the location in the properties. But still not working. Is there any other suggestions for me please?
Hello Irene, thanks for your kind comment! Hidden columns are a pain, right? I remember working hours and hours to get rid of all hidden columns. Here are some tips: 1- Use Inches instead of Centimeters. I believe Report Builder converts Centimeters to Inches in the background, creating numbers with many decimal numbers 2- Check report setup and field setup, they should both be using Inches for size attributes such as width, height and starting position 3- Always sticks to a maximum of 1 decimal place on size and position attributes. 4- Don't rely on the drag and drop to redimension objects. After dimensioning an object with drag and drop, check its size and position attributes 5- Manually check starting position and width attribute of objects, trying to find numbers with many decimal places. Fix those That is it on the top of my head. Hope it helps =)
