I couldn't get my one year old grandson out of it the first time I used it. We did manage to get him out without amputating his legs, but I bent those 4 clips back until they loosened up. Now, I can take the tray off and on easily.
That's a good idea - they are a pain! I got a skinny screwdriver and pushed in on the little round thing that pops out. It's super hard to push in! Then you need to rotate the leg or pull it out so it will come out. Hope that helps until i get a video made

On their site it says up until 3 years of age.

You can take the tray off if you use 4 knifes under the clips, bit like a bike tyre.
