I had my first fight last march.
It was an event my gym set up.
I did it on 4 hours notice vs a Karate black belt which forced me to change my whole style.
I lost 2RDs to 1 and broke my nose by blocking head kicks with my face.😂
But I didn't realise until after the fight when I touched my nose and it felt like shattered glass 😅
I was out of shape and knees to the body gassed me in the 2nd. But I learnt a lot about myself because it was the most fun experience of my life.
It gave me confidence that I was having a lot of success against a dude with 10+ years of Martial Arts experience more than me.

I wrestled 10 years ago for 4 years it was some of the most fun I ever had but also some of the most grueling experiences ever too. I recently started BJJ a month ago and the wrestling experience helps but my cardio bein non existent since I stopped working out really kills me on the mat, however I’m starting to get back into it I can feel my cardio coming back I wanna see just how much of a threat I can become really test myself.

I love this question at 13:45. I first found out about that when I wrestled for 2 years at the age of 24-26. I couldn't last even 10 seconds literally so I said to myself I quit or I keep coming every day and thats what I did. I am not gonna say I became one of the best but later on I could hang in there with guys that did it for years even scoring takedowns on them. Unfortunately I had to stop because of injuries I had here and there, I had to work quite grueling jobs taxing on the body. After wrestling thank God I discovered calisthenics which became my passion for the last 7 years. The next most difficult task I put to myself about 2 years ago was completing 1000 burpees after discovering iron wolf on TH-cam which I completed in 2h25m. I consider this my most grueling experience I have had so far. After some point it just became mental. Oh and I did 1001 just for good luck.

My first fight ever i was both exhausted and terrified at the same time😂 i was swinging like a crazy man just to get my opponent off me, and at every shot I was basically ducking my head down and clinching, I got lucky I've cut my opponent with a massive left huck, it was an arm punch and it was so telegraphed as well, till this day not sure how that landed but it did, from that day on, I became obsessed with cardio and top condition. I thought that was going to be my first and last fight since I was fucking terrified but here we go 3 years later and I'm still doing this shit, my last fight was in September at heavyweight, I bursted my eardrum cause that dude hit like a truck but I found out I defenatly have that dog in me, I had healthy fear, I respected my opponent power, and played it smart, sadly I lost cause he was just too big and strong, I am not an heavyweight by any means, but I took it in short notice and I wanted to fight anyway so no excuses, I was in top shape, guess there are weight classes for a reason lol 😂

I do know mine, when I was 12 years old I thought I was a bad ass because I could do a ton of cool kicks and head down like a month of jujitsu, I got into a fight at a park, I got my ass whooped for a good few minutes, after the fight, I was bloody and bruised up to all hell, I froze up, but at the end of it all I never fell down and was even able to get a double leg although I didn’t do anything else besides hold onto him, since then I have train much longer and now I am 16, I’ve had a few fights since then, and I can definitely say I am most proud of my first fight, because it taught me to be humble, and I was able to have that experience of losing big time, after that fight every fight, I’ve had I’ve been able to bring out a fighter in me rather i’m boxing with friends or bare on fist fight, since then, I have not lost, and have only driven myself to become a better fighter, grappler and mixed martial artist, I hope you read these, because in the video when you asked, do you truly know your limitations I feel like I do🤙🏾💪🏿

I wrestled for 1 year, you learn that limit quick when you don’t have that good of a coach. I was taught a half, full, and a cradle and that’s it. Anyway, that limit for me was right at 8 minutes of being on the bottom. I had to make a choice whether to keep going and to give up. My first match, I pushed through and the kid let me out and I ended up getting a half. Some matches I didn’t push through and got pinned, all mindset!
