- One of my specialties has been recording and producing classical and acoustic music.
Here Boston based early clarinet virtuoso Thomas Carroll plays Caprice No.1 for Solo Clarinet by Anton Stadler. Stadler was best known as Mozart's favorite clarinetist.
This video was shot in my studio using SONY HX9V cameras. The audio was recorded with a Zoom H4n and CAD e70 pencil condenser microphone.
Very special thanks to Billy Wirasnik for his advice, assistance and production support.
WoW ! Sound and skill, thank you for the music.
Authentic clarinet is very interesting instrument with unusually sound
Well done..a fascinating instrument for sure 👍
Very good Thomas. It's much harder to play what you played with this clarinet than with a Bohem system. Congratulations.
Just realized I ran into this guy at a Boston music store. I’ve seen the vid before. Didn’t put the guy in this video to that person before now.
The world is a small place
Congratulations! where can I find the score of the 3 caprices?
Nice instrument! Loving that someone can appreciate the early instrument's beauty. Where did you get yours?
Muy buen Thomas. Es mucho más difícil tocar lo que has tocado con ese clarinete que con un sistema Bohem. Felicitaciones.
Very nice performance. I know, such an early clarinet is harder to play than a modern one, because of the intonation. Do you also use an early mouthpiece and historical reeds?
i know im asking the wrong place but does someone know a method to get back into an instagram account??
I was dumb lost the account password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me
