Who do you recommend as a supplier of your plastic clam shell boxes? Thank you.

4:57 my mathematician mind says you're doing it wrong by draining honey from them. The comb normally prices higher than the honey. If you putting immdetaly into the box the hone which drained will be sold as pure hone, while if you're not draining and putting into the box you will sell that honey together with honeyconb as honeycomb which has higher price.

So what is your technique to get the bees to draw out a shallow of comb honey? Do you use 2 deep brood boxes, or 1 deep brood box? If 2 brood boxes, do you put the queen excluder above just the 1st brood box or above the 2nd brood box? Thanks!

I am still working on what is best. I think mixing comb honey frames with pre drawn honey frames in each super will be the key, then the queen exclude shouldn't lead to swarms

What size of plastic box do you use?
I noticed you had some creamed honey for sale also sold in glass jars. How do you know when it is done or ready to sell?
My bees never got on a strong enough flow this year to produce much comb honey. So what I did get I sold as chunk honey which has been gone for quite some time now. My blue creamed honey is a hit but I can't make it fast enough in my little process. I made 32 lbs Saturday but I've got backorders on those also. LOL My cooler only holds 50 lbs at a time and I'm waiting on my cinnamon to get done.

How much would you charge for a pint jar with a slice of comb and filled with liquid honey?

Why do you let it drain? I would think all of the honey would be desirable.

It would be messy for the customer. Peter doesn't waste much, he is too much like me. CHEAP

And he recaptures the honey from the capping tank. Also to note, he only charges for the post weight. Cheers.
