A fair review. I've had the _plastic_ version of this for the past six or seven years. Pellet on pellet at 25 yards. Mine likes H&N field target trophy the best. Stick a silencer, scope, and bipod on it though, and the weight is over 10 lbs. Still all original seals, after about 3,000 shots. Bought a spare air cylinder for it, and it leaked all the air out in a couple of days. That went back to the shop.
I've got the US version with the longer barrel in .25 . it is a laser. super accurate and the trigger is so well tuned I dare not touch it. only problem I have is that I didn't get the QE so it is very loud. Power is great, it will punch through a frying pan easily.
Bu silahı yeni aldım, peletleri şarjöre nasıl yerleştireceğimi öğrenmek için Türk arkadaşların çektiği bir düzine video izledim hiç biri bunu göstermedi. Helal olsun bu yabancı arkadaşa... Geyik muhabbetlerini bırakıp insanlar nerede takılıra kafa yorup ona göre video çekin diyorum...
Great review, after this video might buy one , like the metal mag and the side leaver , and I wonder what the spare air cylinders cost cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧,, wish you’d use a pencil pointer instead of that knife ,, it just don’t look right ha ha
Cool review! I like the anti double feed system, something severly lacking from the Gamo Coyote! Multiple times ive had friends double feed mine by not cocking gun but loading pellet, then if they go to re-cock without holding (or removing) mag to stop it auto indexing shove another pill in there! Also looks like the barrel support is much better thought out than the single band right at the end of the Coyote, which causes wandering zero in my experience.
Just got AT44-10 iv watched airgun 101 and he says clean the barrel regularly to keep the AT44-10 accurate so I'm asking how long do u use ur AT44-10 be4 u clean the barrel
Yeah it's similar. Not as good as the HW100 but it's less than half the price. Is the HW100 twice as good? Definitely not. For me personally with the kind of shooting I do, I'd rather have the Hatsan AT44-10 and keep the change!
The Kral is a much better gun NP02,,, 330 quid comes ina hard case 2,,,14 shot mags , single shot tray , side lever cocking , 160 shots from a fill , walnut stock , adjustable but pad, piccatinny and dovetail fitting, very accurate, I regularly shoot up to 60 yards to hit spinners and reactive targets cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧
If you wanted to buy one of these guns and then at a later date wanted to increase the power and apply to put it on fac would it be possible and would it be an easy or difficult job?
Hello A really good new video from you, it's a pleasure to view and much better sound as the last video too ;-) is the air Cylinder in the rife from steel or Aluminium? Please, becourse i like the Aluminium better they can't Rust :-) Regards Thomas
can you please explain that how much a bi-pod can improve our accuracy? and if a sand bag can play the bi pod roll correctly or not? thanks for the videos
A bi-pod will improve accuracy as it will make the rifle more steady (and you can therefore hold it steadier). This is especially true with a gun like the Hatsan AT44-10 which has no recoil (being a PCP rifle). A sandbag basically does the same job (I use a sand filled gun rest instead of a bi-pod). There are pros and cons of each. A good bi-pod will cost a few quid and will add weight to the gun, but it is much more portable and better looking than a sandbag.
thanks a lot... i found out when my AT44 is fully recharged (i mean about 200 Barr) for the first couple of shoots the hitting point is higher than where i expect... and after a few shoots it is in promising condition again!! whats the point?
It's because there is an optimum pressure for the gun to turn at. Whilst it can be charged to 200 bar this is slightly above it's best performance. and it then drops off at around 100 bar.
I’ve had my AT44-10 for almost 4 years. During that time I’ve used a hand pump continuously and only recently discovered after having two air cylinders leak that I also will need a compressor refill the cylinders or use a scuba shops. Extra cylinders are approximately $150. The hand pump I bought cost just under $300. The question you should ask yourself is if the extra cost involved with a PCP is worth it. Don’t get me wrong, this is a fantastically accurate 25 caliber air rifle. But for the cost of the extra two cylinders and a hand pump I could’ve bought a very accurate break barrel air rifle. Air pumps add an additional $500 to $1200 to the cost of the PCP. That being said, two of my Beeman air rifles have spring fatigue and the gas cylinder air rifle has also diminished in power over the last thirty years I have used them. Loss of power in each of those air rifles has led to the purchase of the next, leading me to the PCP. I use these tools expressly for pest control, lots of pest control. Lots of money has past since my initial purchase of a Sheridan 22 cal. multi-pump for about $50 some 50 years ago. With 4 expensive pellet rifles down I am back to the Sheridan which has never required any repair or replacement of rubber seals.
Im not a huge fan of my Gamo Coyote, sure its accurate and powerful but it has some issues that this Hatsan seems to have rectified. The plastic trigger on coyote ( i guess other models to?) is horrendously bad, too much flex in blade and unit itself has a lot of creep. The single band at muzzle is also very fidgety and with expansion and contraction of res it throws zero of. Truth be told i rather use an ancient flogged out Diana with a decent trigger.Yup ive shot amazing(for me) groups with the Coyote that i could never manage on a springer but it never feels as satisfying with zero recoil and modern glass.
Can anyone tell,me why my new hatsan at-44 won't take air? I have air coming through probe but will not air cylinder up. Pressure built up so high in the hose that the hose blew out. No reading on pump gauge or cylinder gauge.
Any chance you could do a breach seal change I am a little lost on how to go about doing that feel silly for asking I have heard you have to remove the barrel to do so sounds like a lot of work for just for a seal .
there's better rifles out there, but not for the price. you can pick them up second hand for peanuts. I'll never part with mine. I'm still in love with this paratrooper, thrown four tins thru it so far. it's not very choosy with pellets either, so feeding it spitfires.
My local airgun shop has one for £280 scope included.. I really like this rifle but am put off by the air leakage this rifle apparently often has. What do you think? This one or a HW95k for £310? Thanks!
Hatsanusa has the worst customer service I ve ever experienced. 6 weeks into buying a sortie and I still don t have it. Originally shipped a defective, non-shooting gun and now nothing but “please leave a message” and one email saying it is a priority. Wouldn t buy another Hatsan under any conditions.
I like this guy, he's thorough and clear and devoid of too many err's and uum's. Thanks for the vids feller.
No problem, glad you like the videos.
A fair review.

Brilliant review thank you
as usual , a fantastically informative vid ..keep up the good work mate
Thanks.
This was my first PCP rifle absolutely love it
Good review with no fuss , Looks like this is the gun for me
Thanks, I would recommend this rifle.
Man i'm getting mines tomorrow. I can't wait to start using it.
Have fun!

Sounds good. Unfortunately we can't get that kind of power from them in the UK. Great guns though.
love my model 60s, well made bit of kit. nice video JRH, thanks mate.
I've never tried the 60s, but it looks like a great springer.
Good shooting and grouping

Compared to other multishot PCPs in a similar price range, I think the Hatsans are definitely the best of the bunch.
I just ordered the QE version of this gun, can't wait to get it!!
Cool, let me know what it's like.
Air Armoury - received my gun a couple days ago, and it is awesome!
Sounds good.
Wat silencer do u use as my wh silencer does not screw all the way down to connect to the barrel
very informative video, thanks
No problem.
A votre choix HATSAN at 44 - 10 ! ou BSA buccanner en 4.5 mm ?
Just got AT44-10 iv watched airgun 101 and he says clean the barrel regularly to keep the AT44-10 accurate so I'm asking how long do u use ur AT44-10 be4 u clean the barrel
Easy to increase the power , as well
Ma questa carabina è libera vendita,x sapere 👍
Man I'm impressed. This rifle is very similar to the HW100

Looks nice , might get one in the future if this virus doesn’t kill me ,, cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧
another cracking video JRH, well done and keep them coming...... :)
Thanks.

Just bought one last week. Lovely rifle
Too bad about the intro music! Sounds like the drummer is a one handed deaf guy
Dallas Howell welcome to 80s punk rock.

Hi Thomas. Thanks for you comment. The air cylinder is steel.
Thank you very much, i hope it is stainless steel :-)
Very helpfull review. I'd like to ask you though, is the barrel of this gun made by hatsan? or lothar walther? Thanks, cherrs
I believe the original is made by Hatsan, but I'm pretty sure you can get an aftermarket Lothar Walther barrel for it.

Hello i have one question what is the best co2 air gun that comes with pump around 500$
whats the AT44 like to fill with a hand pump ?
Admittedly it's a bit of a hassle, but I prefer to do that than have to refill a scuba tank as I don't shoot it all that often at the moment.
I’ve had my AT44-10 for almost 4 years. yep, nice gun. i was worried, if it was me flashing that knife around as a pointer, the stock and barrel would have had scratches all over it!
Yeah it's a great gun. And I make sure I'm extra careful with the knife.
How many decibels is it unsilenced?
I don't know without testing it, but next time I have the rifle out I'll test it and let you know.
Air Armoury
Thank you :D
How many joule?
Snuck in a slam on Gamo and Webley... Nice.
Haha, nothing against either of them, I just prefer the Hatsan rifle to their similar PCPs.
Air Armoury - I hear you. I like Gamo, I have the hunter 440 and it is a really good gun, I've had it for 12 years and it's still dead on.
Hello! Am from Brasil, How do I buy through redirection?
You would need to contact Hatsan to find out the details of their distributor in Brazil.
thinking of getting this for my first rifle, would you recomemd this or have you come across better for a novice ? thsnks
It's a piece of s***
you should have tell us how many fps is the gun ?
I did. Did you watch the full video?
Hatsan AT44 10 Long Air Rifle Claim 1170, is it correct ?
That might be the fps straight out of the factory, but I can't get that with my rifle as it is tuned down for the UK market.
Very handsome rifle, thanks for sharing!
No problem.
Can anyone tell,me why my new hatsan at-44 won't take air? I have air coming through probe but will not air cylinder up. Pressure built up so high in the hose that the hose blew out. No reading on pump gauge or cylinder gauge.
Feet per Second ?
Yes I'm aware of what fps means. the fps will depend on what pellets are being used. I did chronograph the gun in the video.
Any chance you could do a breach seal change I am a little lost on how to go about doing that feel silly for asking I have heard you have to remove the barrel to do so sounds like a lot of work for just for a seal .
Kral np 02 is better cheaper and as accurate, as can be seen on my channel , cheers for the great review shaneweightman
I think it is important to chrono it.
Exploding targets in your back garden. I bet the neighbours love you.
I have a older one myne is mod 33
Here in Brazil is very expensive.
there's better rifles out there, but not for the price. you can pick them up second hand for peanuts. I'll never part with mine. I'm still in love with this paratrooper, thrown four tins thru it so far. it's not very choosy with pellets either, so feeding it spitfires.
Yeah I think it's fantastic for the price. I use spitfires for for plinking when I'm not bothered about accuracy as they are nice and cheap.
hope if your not gonna use can give it to me. from philippines loves air gun.
My local airgun shop has one for £280 scope included.. I really like this rifle but am put off by the air leakage this rifle apparently often has. What do you think? This one or a HW95k for £310? Thanks!
like hatsan great value for money. like there spring rifle s . The Turkish walnut stocks are well made and quality for the price🖒cheers j
Yeah I agree, you get a lot for your money with Hatsan.
$ ... Gun bos
22 foot pound is how much fps ?
that why please tell me the fps of your air Rifle ?
Hatsanusa has the worst customer service I ve ever experienced. 6 weeks into buying a sortie and I still don t have it. Originally shipped a defective, non-shooting gun and now nothing but “please leave a message” and one email saying it is a priority. Wouldn t buy another Hatsan under any conditions.
Did you deal with Hatsan directly? In the UK they are imported/distributed by Edgar Brothers and I've found their customer service ok.
I like end I want
The review I found to be ok, however I am astounded that you used a knife as a pointer.
It's a piece of s***had it sold it
Not a good idea using a knife to point out the stock
