Today I’m reviewing the upcoming Adidas YEEZY 700 MNVN in the triple black colorway! The first YEEZY 700 MNVN has a release date of February 8th 2020 and a retail price of $220. The Adidas Yeezy 700 MNVN still has a boost midsole which makes it very comfortable under foot. Is the Yeezy 700 MNVN a worthy follow up to the Yeezy Boost 700, 700 V2 and Yeezy 700 V3? I'd like these more if they didn't have that text on the upper. That being said there's not enough going on with the upper anyway... Otherwise I like the silhouette and the bungee laces I kind of like too

This is a nice cozy shoe and I’m sure they’ll look better in more colors in the future. Personally the 3m is cold af and I’d swap out the OG laces for my own and that would make a shoe go from a 6.8/10 to a 8/10

It kind of reminds me of Solomon’s that I use to wear back before I reignited my hype sneaker craze . Obviously the bungee cord looks like you can cut it off then run laces if you wished , but true you would think the orange or even green color would have came first . I think it looks good on your feet . But with the current trend of vintage over tech style , the 700 doesn’t fit well . At this point ever the yeezy basketball has lost its appeal.
Seth the holes at the top are there in case you want cut off the fixed laces and replace them with regular ones

Black static and the breds are my fave 350s personally
I have a vanta v2 and they sure as hell are nice especially with the suede touches. Between the 350 black statics and bred I’d go for the charcoal black of the Bred. It also seems to be sleeker due to the minimalist design it has. No 3M touches? No problem.

Reading through the comments it seems most people aren't feeling this shoe. I dunno, I always thought the regular 700s were ugly looking but for some reason I'm liking this shoe a lot. :D The only thing I'm not liking design wise, is the 700 lettering. Since it's dark though, it blends in pretty nicely, and therefore for me personally it looks like a nice sleek shoe which I prefer.

I honesty prefer these more over any other 700 because of the tech wear/ lifestyle vibes it gives off, especially with the laces, I just wish they did something different with the bottom half and the sole

cant really complain about a colorway that is the most easiest to pull off dude but for me I dig the v1,v2 and v3 more . and for the mnvn black joints I think those are a good pair of working shoes no cap .

I like the muted look of the 300, I really am not a fan of the massive 300 look, and it blends it nicely IMO
I wonder how many people are going to cut off the lace to put in their own laces to adjust the fit

The midsoles on the v1s and v2s are way different my guy. The v2s curve up higher towards the back and the indentations are a lot deeper, those are the visual tells, but you can tell they're a good bit softer than v1 midsoles. These look like v2 midsoles.
You're right, the 700 print should stand out and be bold. Like you said, it should be white!
Is the upper waterproof? This feature would have matched the tech aesthetics...

I HATE how cheap these look like I get its $220 and it's made with lower quality materials than the v1 and v2 but the 350s are the same price and the quality seems a lot better
If the sole was an inch thinner and the foot part had more of a curve to it rather than just a slope, it would be FIRE

I disagree with your opinion with the 220 not being premium, I have fake off white Jordan 1’s for 80 bucks and they are legit the same thing as normal off whites.
Yeah but u can sell the normal off whites for a lot of profit, it justifies the retail or even resell price if you can afford it. If you just like the shoe then fakes is fine

Quick question: Is the polyester upper somewhat waterproof? I’m intrigued by the MNVN variant because I couldn’t wear my 700s in the rain unless I had a water repellent on it.
The materials inside will protect it from the rain but the polyester will definetely get soaked in the rain
