We shall never see performer's like this again at the Grand Ole Opry, maybe it's because they won't allow this anymore, but this is when fans truly got to see true raw talent at it's best! Would love to know how many times he performed there late at night!

The version he sang in the film 'From Nashville With Music' was in my opinion one of the best of this song which has multi recordings from many top singers including Elvis, Tom Jones, Gene Pitney, Rusty Draper, Merle Haggard, Porter Wagoner and Jerry Lee Lewis to name just a few.
