Mr.Kitty should make an album with Alice Glass (original singer of crystal castles). In his song Constellations, the outro sounds like its actually Alice backing him up which surprised me a lot. That song is amazing and I can't imagine how good the music would sound if you both got together for a recording session.

I’ve only recently stumbled on Mr.Kitty, and I couldn’t help but be reminded of Crystal Castles while listening. I’m so glad he made this cover! I personally think Alice’s voice in the original has more emotion behind it, but in a way I think that enhances my idea of what the song is conveying. His voice feels more detached and impersonal to the lyrics, which I feel depict a speaker on the verge of some type of dissociative state or something... maybe in response to some type of abuse or assault? I may be off base, but the lyrics about consenting and repenting give me that impression. Overall, this cover feels kind of “emptier” emotionally, and in a way I think it kind of suits the song!

Check out Depeche Mode, Blume, HAPAX, Selofan, TRST, AND ONE, VNV Nation, Assemblage 23. Depeche Mode is probably the closest to this, especially the album "Black Celebration", the rest I gave you are more upbeat but still very dark. And obviously check out the rest of Mr.Kitty's stuff, because he's one underrated genius :)
