The crime figures are only gathered from the exact route of the Carnival. Even a few yards off the route are not counted as being Carnival related. The actual figure is far greater.

Notice the smirk on the reporters face asking how police get sexually assaulted. He needs to be educated on how masses of men surrounding and shielding perpetrators as they attack a singled out individual can easily assault a policeman. It is disgusting and offensive. Basically the exact same story we get from this high class event every single year. The attendees never fail to predictably disappoint.
Several years ago I decided to visit a store the exact day this cesspool of a festival took place and if I had knew, I'd not have gone because I was stuck with that re tarded crowd and I was concerned about my safety in that environment. Never again.
I don't live in England anymore, but god damn I'll never forget being trapped in that hell and once I got out of the "festival," it was such a relief. It felt like I was unable to find a way out (with everything having borders and all).
If a festival requires business and homeowners to protect their property, you know something's definitely wrong and needs to change.

but on a side note, you shouldn't make yourself small, even if you did feel in fear, you should share it with your mates or something, but not for everyone to know, there are 16 year old girls that weight is like 50kg that walk in this event, so it not a good look on you!

It happened to me on Sunday. I went for a walk because I'd been trapped in my house for 2 days. I went on my usual route, except there were loads of people who looked like they'd been to a concert. A lot busier than usual. When I saw 1 boarded up Tesco pretending it was closed and abandoned when I know it's open every day I was suspicious. When I saw the 2nd boarded up Tesco my gut told me to turn around and go home. I'm new here so I never knew about this festival. But clearly the shop owners know about it and decide it's better to close and lose thousands of pounds rather than be open.

I created my own Notting Hill carnival this year
I went to the zoo and I threw a bag of knives in with the monkeys sat back and watched. Did not play them music as i wanted to hear the screams

The Notting Hill Stab-a-thon.
The area of Notting Hill where the carnival processions take place, has hugely changed in recent years, due to gradual gentrification. Many of us remember the “No Go “ places off Portobello Rd in the 1970s and 80s, including the infamous “ All Saints Road”, which has, like much of the area, lost its colourful associations. One of the great sadnesses of the past few years, are the loss of the “Old School” Costermongers, who used to sell veg and fruit in Portobello Road. One remembers certain characters with great affection, such as Dolly Caine, and her family, who ran several barrows. Their places have been gradually taken over by people from God knows where, selling God knows what, and the old flavour has gone.
Occasionally there is a whiff of the old times, which gives a certain frisson, but the stench of clearing up the mess from the Carnival brings one back to reality with a horrid jolt.
The stench was very pervasive ‘ During the Carnival Not just After It !
Some of those young participants were so obese They look as if they had devoured an entire Buffalo for Breakfast .. Not just Black teenagers White too … Many of them looked as if they had been pumped up with a bicycle pump … get healthy you people, you will die terribly ! years ahead of your time …. I know about these things …

I went to this carnival in 1996 and my girlfriend at the time was sexually assaulted numerous times, even with me next to her. God knows what would have happened if I wasn’t there.

Trying to say 2 million people attended to excuse the 308 arrests is a disgrace. Most of the people that attended are Londoners and went on more than one day so they just get counted twice.
Multiple stabbings yet again, machete wielding thugs, 57 police officers assaulted, 71 arrests for carrying weapons including a gun, and 20 sexual assaults. It's become a national embarrassment.
On the other hand... it is a 'celebration' of Caribbean culture, and considering that 3 out of the top 10 countries for murders per capita in 2023 are Caribbean countries, then the carnival is a roaring success...

I advocate for imposing a jail term for individuals found in possession of a blade or machete, with the duration of the term directly corresponding to the length of the blade, such as one year for every inch.
