As someone who complained the arrow of light and who is also an Eagle Scout I have to say I will give you some props. For going through the whole scouting program. It’s about turning young boys into leaders and men and giving them useful skills as well. Good luck

I love this! I quit Boy Scouts in high school when it was "uncool". Not only have I also always regretted not sticking it out and getting my Eagle, I've also given serious consideration to doing all of the things I had left just to say I completed it. So cool that you're actually doing it!

I was originally in Cub Scouts but didn't go far as the leaders were horrible at their job. So my dad made me quit because it just wasn't what it was supposed to be.
It is the “Boy Scouts of America Official Hat” which is what the label says inside it. This campaign style was the main style until the garrison cap which came about in the 40s/WWII. But the campaign hat didn’t disappear, some still chose to wear them. I’m not sure when this particular hat is from, but up until the 40s is when this was the official hat. You can find them on eBay.
I mean as long as you don't where badges that you didn't earn as a youth you are technically with in guide lines. Just please don't going claiming you are an eagle scout now.
