God bless your heart with Peace, Jessica Y. Hope you are doing fine 11 months later and keep playing the soulful music to fill your soul!
I come back to listen to this over and over and over. I know all the classic Ahavat Olam melodies and of course am partial to the one from my days at camp, but none of them have the emotional depth of this one by Gabe Mann and Piper Rutman. I’m so grateful to Jonah for sharing this video and bringing this melody into my life.
don’t be shy platt brothers... share the talent with the rest of us ... not fair y’all just get all of the talent leave a CRUMB for us pls
There’s three of them?? And they can all sing??? Also this is the most beautiful song I’ve ever heard, despite not being able to understand 80% of it?? I died😭
Being Jewish I listen to & enjoy a ton of Jewish music. THIS may be my favorite video I have every seen. The Platt brothers voices are beautiful, and they sing so well together. This is really soulful and amazing!! Please Make More!!
Do you have some recommendations about Jewish music you enjoy? :)
This is the second blessing before the Shema in the evening service. We thank G-d for giving us Torah and recognize that unlike ourselves, G-d and the gift of Torah are eternal. Here is an english translation -
Endless is Your love for Your people Israel. You have taught us Torah and its mitzvot, laws and judgement. Therefore, O God, when we lie down and when we rise up we shall speak of Your commandments and rejoice in Your Torah and mitzvot forever. Day and night we will reflect on them. They are our life and the length of our days. Your love shall never depart from our hearts. Blessed are You, Eternal God who loves Your people Israel.
just Wow! Beautiful
I’m not Jewish, I’ve never heard this song before and don’t even understand the lyrics.... but it’s really beautiful.
Bravo
Oh dear God, it's just wrong to have that much talent in one family!
I don't think I've ever heard 3 voices blend so well together. Please release an album because you can be guaranteed at least one sale 🙋♀️
Mind blown!!!
SHALOM from Israel. I see you guys 1000 times a day. This acapella is so amazing. You all have state of the art technique . Middle one- you bring tears to my eyes!!!!
That TRANSITION into English said Jonah we’re sending you to space LOCK IT IN BROS
The choral bliss beginning at 0:42 transcends any belief or creed. Pure choral tears.
"that was good" understatement can't even begin to describe
Each brother has a mighty fine voice, but the secret sauce of the trio is Henry with his velvety smooth pleasing tone. Gotta watch for big things from him in the future.
Jesus...there are more than one!? I was not ready!!
The talent in the Platt family is just beyond unbelievable - and in Hebrew! I'm totally impressed. Toda from Tel Aviv xoxo
Lol בן הוא אדיר
הוא באמת אדיר,איך הם כאלה מוכשרים????
I guess I have no choice but to convert to Judaism 🤷🏾♀️
We have no other choice, tbh
And become a man because Ben is gay. The older brother, Jonah, is married.
Don't know about the 3rd...
@@carr0760 Maybe she was just talking about the beauty of Jewish tradition, ya know....😀
Yass join us
I think by watching this video we've all automatically become jewish
I love it when siblings sing, the blend is magic!!!!
Y’all should put out an album! I’ve never heard three voices as perfectly matched as y’all’s. Y’all are amazing!
At least two of them have been on Broadway.
@@susanadelson5936 I found out about Ben by seeing him in Pitch Perfect!
Very common for siblings to blend very well. There is absolutely a genetic component to vocal quality. Plus, they would have grown up with similar training/influences, so we have both nature and nurture coming into play here.
Wow such a talented family
Ben and Henry have the most relatable middle brother/baby brother energy. The first 20 seconds of this and the very end had me absolutely cackling.
Then the rest had me crying, cause this is beautiful.
So beautiful and beautifully sung. Bravo, gentlemen!

ETERNAL LOVE
Eternal love for Your people, House of Israel,
Torah and Mitzvot, laws

Therefore, 0 God,

Blessed art Thou Lord,
who loves his nation Israel.
Thank you for putting the original words and the translation. It meant a lot to me.
Thank you for posting the lyrics! Very beautiful!
It sound like the same person is singing 3 parts at the same time
Next weekend three brothers will all start in the Rugby World Cup final for New Zealand. Sometimes, the power of three brothers is pretty amazing! This is certainly one of those times, too.
As a Jewish musical theater nerd I’m so happy to find this!! Y’all really lite up my day thank you
Have a good Rosh Hashanah and a sweet new year (In a week) 💜💜
Jewish musical theater nerds are the best
L’shanah tova!
NOTHING compares to the blending of voices from the same family!! Beautiful!! Be blessed!!
My jaw legitimately dropped😧😧😧... I didn’t know Ben Platt has brothers but they took all the talent and left us with nothing...
Honestly can’t believe that there is only three of you. I really needed this, not being able to see other people or go to my synougague, a good reminder of what will be waiting after this is over.
Wow! Had no idea that talent ran so rich in this family, Blessed!
Beautiful! There’s nothing as beautiful as the blend of family harmonies! Well done Gentlemen, and the pianist as well! 🎶🎵
they look so different but on the same time so alike
1. This is gorgeous. How all three Platt brothers can sing like angels is beyond me.
2. The sweet look they give each other at the end melts my heart every time.
Wow, Henry has such a beautiful tone to his voice.
Ok I am not crying, you crying? So beautiful
Love the timbre of Henry”s voice. One is a trumpet, one is a saxophone and one is a French horn.
