- I think Frank McKinnon requested this a while back so here's to Frank.
Crank this one up in the headphones. I did some critical work on this song. I searched all over the web to find the best version I could find to make an enhanced version from and "the Tremeloes" was the best I could find to work with. Hope you all like it! Kenn - เพลง
Kenn .... Im 64 and enjoying the oldies ...... so crisp ///// so clear ...... don't know what else to say . thank you so much
Hey Mate! Check out the live version, simply amazing! Just Tremelo and reverb, no CORRECTED PITCH here!!! th-cam.com/video/n03g8nsaBro/w-d-xo.html
I'm 65 & I love the oldies
You can understand the words to this song without having to read the lyrics. A rarity in today's music.
i am 67 and enjoying the oldies. Beautiful !
One of the great hits of the 60s. It brings the atmosphere and times of 1967 back to me. It sad that time has slipped by so quickly.
One of my favorites growing up in the 60s
I close my eyes & listen, pure bliss..💗🎶
Thank You for the great music. Takes me back to my younger years.😢❤💞💔
Kenn, I don't know who you are or what you do for a living, but your work is TRANSFORMATIVE. I've listened to MANY of your enhanced versions, and they bring incredible new life to songs I've been listening to for 50+ years. It's mind blowing to hear so many of these elements in these songs that I never heard before; gives them a depth and richness they never had on the radio or even on the web, even with headphones. I can't THANK YOU enough. Seriously. PHENOMENAL work.
Its not Enhanced...Its a Re Record Its NOT!!! The Original Recording and Im Not talking about added stereo
@@BASH953 I think you're wrong .
This song has a lot of truth and meaning to it. It did back in the 60s and especially in today's society.
Kenn, Always A MONSTER FAVORITE of Mine ! God Bless And Thank You My Dear Friend !
I remember this recording very well when stationed at Goodfellow AFB San Angelo, TX. in 1967. You did wonders with enhancing the drums on the right channel. Thanks for your efforts Kenn.
Remembering Dave Munden. Rest in peace.
Such excellent harmony by these guys. I never really noticed it until now. Great job.
Big fan of yours......keep up the good work. Love it.👍👍👍😃
The Tremeloes....they are golden!
Beautiful , beautiful !
One of my favorites from my early years. Great Job!
Most excellent!!! I see a couple of comments that this particular version is a re-recorded one & not the original, to which I scream SO WHAT??? It’s perfect!!! One of Kenn’s best enhancements, IMO ...
Barry Standley Kenn although this is very good but i feel you should have cleaned up the original single.Sorry but keep up the great work you do on all your re-recordings!
Lots of memories come back to me with this song, great sound.
Gorgeous!
A HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE THANK YOU To You Kenn , Yes I Did Request This Song My Dear Friend, God Bless You , I LOVE IT !
Kenn, as a former drummer that is the first thing that stands out. You took the lame washed out drums from the back and brought them to the front . Nice job if I do say so. It sounds like a different song, totally rearranged, beautiful. Musical Magic my brother...keep em rolling out........Tim...Semper Fi.
Glad you like it Tim! When I first started doing these enhanced versions I only worked on the guitar parts. Then I started adding keyboard, then vocals and last redoing the percussion. It's now a total packaged required to get that special sound I'm trying to achieve. It takes a lot of practice (thousands of hours) to get the knack of doing it right. Kenn
I'm with you Timothy! I thought it was an alternate version.
Great editing job.
You are DEAD on! The drums add a TON here. This guy's work is incredible.
Lyrics:
Doo-ooo-ooo-ooo
Doo-ooo-ooo-ooo
Oh don’t it hurt deep inside
To see someone do something to her
Oh don’t it pain to see someone cry
How especially when someone is her
Silence is golden
But my eyes still see
Silence is golden, golden
But my eyes still see
Talking is cheap people follow like sheep
Even though there is no where to go
How could she tell he deceived her so well
Pity she’ll be the last one to know
Silence is golden
But my eyes still see
Silence is golden, golden
But my eyes still see
Doo-wee-doo-wee-doo-wah-wah
Doo-oo-wee-wah
How many times will she fall for his lines
Should I tell her or should I be cool
And if I tried I know she’d say I lied
Mind your business don’t hurt her you fool
Silence is golden
But my eyes still see
Silence is golden, golden
But my eyes still see
But my eyes still see
But my eyes still see
Nice, song, y. Espectacular. Súper. Wonderful... Sonido..
Like SO many of Kenn's creations: this one is best heard thru ear buds/headphones, in order to catch all the added and augmented nuances.
I don't think such superb vocals, harmonies and melodies exist in pop music anymore. Maybe they're all passé
Beautiful!! Thank you sir.
Kenn, you bring back life in every song you enhance...THANK YOU!
Thank you for enhancing this beautiful song.
Great band. Thank you.
I've not listened to songs of my childhood since those days, thinking them juvenile I suppose and badly recorded to boot. This is a wonderful trip back in time, appreciating the music more now with high quality enhancement. Thank you!
I live in the music of my childhood. Love it here
Masterpiece.
Excellent cover of the Bob Gaudio/Bob Crew wonderful B side of Rag Doll. The 4 Seasons weren't in the business of releasing ballads in '64 or the song would have been a smash hit for them and not the Tremeloes 3 years later. Anyway, great enhancement, as usual, Kenn.
Great Song Great Group. Here Comes My Baby!❤😉✌✌
The TREMELOES almost destroyed the career of the Dave Clark Five. They were in the recording studio at the same time the DC5 were recording "Do You Love Me". They realized it would probably be a hit and copied their recording and released it ahead of the DC5. Since they already had a hit, their version was played more often than the DC5's version. After this, Clark ordered all the DC5's recording sessions to be closed to the public.
Wonderful. Thank you very much.
Superb Job As Always My Friend.. As A Drummer Of More Years That I Care To Remember, I Would Like To Also Thank You For Enhancing The Drums Along With Other Instruments & Vocals.. Keep Up The Sensational Work.:))
This NOT The Original recorded Version
@@BASH953 Yes, I know. That's why Kenn makes it a point of writing "New Enhanced Version."
Beautiful! It makes me wonder how the world has progressed when we reach back so many times to find better and best. A work well done!
It appears to me that we have progressed in technology but not artistic talent!
To find artistic compositions like this song you have to dig them out of the past.
The 60's and 70's reached a pinnacle of music excellence from which it has never
recovered. There wasn't much left musically for the generations that followed that had not already been done. The music envelope had been pushed so far that
nothing could equal it alone rival it in centuries to come and that is evident from the trash that now occupies the air waves. I'll tell you something else from a musicians point of view--what happened was that the recording studios allowed
people with mediocre talents to flood the air waves. All that accomplished was to
dumb down the music industry with great pretenders and talent mocking buffoons.
cinematic35. Absolutely, couldn't have said better, and about time someone did. There was a point when music gave way to money, when record companies became small parts of huge conglomerates that turned the A&R departments into mere "budget items." Unfortunately, it was at the same point in time when the technology made it easy to replace musicians with machines. I watched it all happen and was very sad to see my end of the business, radio, all too eager to play along for the big record company "promotions" and ad dollars.
And I was watching it with you bro....
@@cinematic35 YOU SIR....just summed up my own thoughts exactly. You are 100% SPOT ON CORRECT! So, so, so sad what "music" has been downgraded to. You put it so well I plan to copy and paste your comments on my Facebook page. I will give you the credit.
Super job Kenn !!
Beautiful........
Makin' my ear buds vibrate on this one, cranked up a 'lil bit more than usual.
Already had a great sound for 67 but even better now
Great music Great channel. 📀💯💫✨️🎵🎶🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸💃🕺🎙💿
For those of us who are fond of Kenn's production style, which makes Phil Spector look like a child, these are great songs.
Excelent job Kenn. Can you do Here comes my baby also by the Tremeloes?
I wish I had that songs on a CD cause I'd enhance it. If I get a copy of it I'll do it. Kenn
Still listening in Jamaica 🇯🇲 2023
JUST ADD TO THE LIST OF THE GREATEST ( MEMORIES )
Love your channel man. I really do. Didnt know you did this song!
Please try out alone again naturally and/or everybody plays the fool
Like Perry has said, sadly it's a re-recording of the song. Still loving what you do though Kenn, keep up your sterling work!
essa remasterização ficou excelente
The Tremeloes did a very good cover of a four seasons song
And a very immitation of the Four seasons
THANK YOU
wow good job
Love ❤️ THE TREMELOES CHIP, ALAN, RICK, DAVE ❤️
this is a re-recorded version but anyway it sounds great
gerard megawatti,
true, and their 1967 rendition is miles better than this.
Great song from the Sixties. Were there any bad ones? Maybe Helter Skelter, Crazy Horses?
Thanks man

Didn't the four seasons do this also?
A question The voice falsette in the end of the song is the original ? I got the record original and dont is the same. Thanks
RIP Dave Munden ... 16th October 2020.
Perfection....................seamless perfection.
This song is PERFECT.. except for the ending. They should've ended simple instead of taking it up.
This Is what I try to tell some of my extremely dramatic family members, just shut up your dramatic mouth and listen to this song.
Put some video of the groups with this enhanced music
This version is much better.
It's hard to hear the difference on this one without headphones
Nice but ...this is a re recording of this song done around 1981 for a 60's compilation album.
New Bose ear pods blue tooth wow
💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🎶🫠
What a pity you chose to 'enhance' the 70's re-recorded version, rather than the the 1967 original recording....ah, well...
Sorry for all your trouble doing this but this is definitely not the original version, I have done a stereo conversion of this a while back.
This is not the original
Sorry Paul. This sucks. You were right to give it to Peter and Gordon
Unlike a lot of the other songs I've heard on this channel, this song is just a beat too slow and the highs seem muted a bit.
Although a beautiful tune, I personally never cottoned to it. Not sure why, just never resonated with me.
Very impressiv Kenn. Thanks.
Good job keep it alive and fresh.
The Tremeloes of my heart will always be Alan, Chip, Dave and Rick.
This song takes me back.
