You said we are building shrines and memorial into people and I agree….it’s not about us or our ministries; it’s about the Kingdom and His name Jesus. That’s why we shouldn’t name our ministries after our own names…it’s not about KW ministries or jF ministries …it’s about the ministry of Jesus Christ. God has convicted me about naming our ministries after ourselves because it’s makes room for pride and arrogance
Have you heard him speak or preach anything other than Jesus? He doesn't promote himself in any way. It's his name and it's his ministry to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Just because something grows and is enlarged doesn't mean it's by their own doing, it's by the anointing God has on the person. I encourage you to visit his website. He doesn't ask for money, instead he asks if you have any prayer requests, but if you'd like to parter with him in ministry, the option is there. That should show you something about his character and who he is. And coming from a marketing perspective, if he were to speak somewhere, people would remember his name, not his ministry and they would search for him, not a ministry name. If I wanted to follow someone to hear them speak, I find out who they are, not their ministry.
Respectfully, The Lord convicted you. He did not convict me. My heart is to preach Christ and share the gospel with as many people as God will trust us to share it with. I would be careful about assigning convictions God gave you to other people. If I were you I would honor the word God spoke to me. I would not tell everyone else they should. Furthermore, Paul did not shrink back from testifying of the ministry God gave him. One entire chapter of the Bible is dedicated to him defending his ministry. While I understand your concern, it isn't prudent to rebuke or correct folk who may not be dealing with issues that you may be dealing with. Pray for God to continue to help us. blessings
