See...despite King Kong being the ultimate underdog....it was King of the Monsters that made me realize that Kong had zero chance of actually winning that 1v1 with Godzilla. Not so much because of what Godzilla can do but because of the absolutely psycho amount of punishment he can take. I knew then that the best case scenario was Kong just surviving. I figured that Godzilla would spare him because he's smart enough to realize who is a good monster (even if they're being a pain in his ass) and one that needs to be straight up deleted like Ghidora. He was on that third strike in GxK tho ngl. Kong better send Mothra a fruit basket or a gift card or something..

@StudymlMusicKing wow, its crazy that godzilla needed help fighting a 2v1 against opponents who have specifically evolved to weaken his species as much as possible, and then also needed help when he almost died fighting ghidorah because the military decided to use the oxygen destroyer when he would've won that fight anyway. Compared to Kong who would've died to the skull crawler, Sam L Jackson, and Godzilla. Godzilla's fights have either been against opponents who counter his abilities or are interfered with like in KOTM. whenever kong's fights get interferences its never damaging for him.

I mean, he technically was cooking ghidorah in round 2 but the oxygen destroyer did its thing, he also cooked Kong all encounters while kong got his lil axe, the first movie is understandable, he was weakened

Not true the things humans bring to the fight is plot armour.
Thank god Toho made them sign a contract to use Godzilla in the movies because otherwise they would've absolutely destroyed Godzilla to make Kong look good.
