You need to put every point you've got into a getting a good running back. If you do that, you'll have a great foundation offensively and then your decent passing game will be even more effective.
I wish you could run the option in madden 13 instead i have to way over use screens and draws and sometimes a little wildcat with Tim Tebow but if i could use the option with him and Shonn Greene that would be great.
I started a dynasty with Texas state, I'm 4-0. Beat Houston 24-3, Texas tech 21-16, oklahoma state 33-31, and Nevada 28-21. I actually have had a real hard time running the ball but keep throwing for over 300 yards, all you have to do is run and do short quick passes and then you can open up the long balls and it really works.
Unless you have a school with already decent defense i'd think its hard to be just a off. coordinator and see teams easily march down and score all the time. My suggestion is next time, go to a average school that has a poor or very simple offense and try to improve theirs.
This game is so messed up with tackling. Whenever u are running away from a cpu and they are about to catch up to u and make a tackle, they dive and miss. Needs to be fixed. His last touchdown was a perfect example

Not true. A running back is only as good as its offensive line. Every once in 2 decades a Barry Sanders will come along, but he won't choose to play ball at Texas State.
