Good for a change to see someone telling you how he make currency not having a completely empty currency tab. Did note you played the whole of Crucible too, so you're not just giving up once you got your initial win.
@@Bikespokes I'm not too sloppy myself, but I need to optimize my early league currency grind. I tend to make the most a bit later. I'm nearing 120 mirrors on std now. My average pace tend to be a mirror per 3 days and I hardly manage to go faster. I'm often too prudent I feel like. I do the mid-range crafts with the random 10 to 50 divs profit. Not the big big stuff that requires a lot of time and investment. Rest is usual, being good at observing the market and feeding the demand... and then moving currency where it has the greatest potential to rise. The snowball effect as quitty called it (he was/is the best at making currency). But then I'm often avoiding doing certain things even if I know they are super profitable at certain times. Like I do not want to spam trade to buy certain div cards for profit for 5 hours in a row, this gets too tedious. I know I can yield 30-40 divs an hour on certain things, but it's not something I want to do too much of. I'd rather just bulk up tempering orbs for Belton and have him throw mirrors at bulk... or bulk tailoring orbs for Jenubu and he reliably always whisper me once I have 100. I take my 50 divs profit or so for buying 100 orbs. I always was bad compared to many others at early league profit. I do ramp up to a mirror every 2-3-4 days, but first week I never have a mirror earned. I just move currency to my build and then try to progress doing things that don't earn me a ton. My atlas is not yet fully setup, I don't do intricate farming strat. I do the quick altar stuff. I do some big flips, like I flipped +4 lightning coil and +4 shav that were posted a bit low. 20 divs profit on each on reselling. I try to flip things that make sense, like I made a bunch flipping silver coins. It's fast moving but it is a full-time thing if you do it. Continual buy and sell with 30% margin or so. Then the rest of the stuff people all need early like instilling orbs, greater and grand ichor, tainted currency, lifeforce, exalts, annuls, etc. I admit it makes tons of sense to do stacked deck early, because so many sets have more value. You finish some Alpha Howl or Lightning Coil or Cold Iron Point, those are all high demand decent value items you'll get opening decks. It's not like I haven't heard that before, but somehow I never do it. You just straight up buy them or you buy order?
Just making a comment on this video too for visibility, has the stacked deck strategy changed much at all? Also I might have just missed it but how do you price in bulk for div cards
ive since updated the ultimate div card handbook. i just list the whole stack in my div card tab at the price of 1 card (for example: if a card is typically worth 1c individually but if i have 500 of them, ill list them at 5c each) the buyer will then dictate to me how many they want to buy. the stack size is visible on trade so they can tell i have 500 instead of just 1 for example. if you ever have questions the best way to get a hold of me is through discord! check out the description of my videos for invite links.
i love POE community sometimes ... someone posts an actual good hideout strategy for early league and people call it fake cause they are either afraid of any calculated risk vs reward. Solid snowball specially with the inflation that was going on this, if this was any other league it would have been like 7-8 mirrors. (Which is considerably the main currency for a HO warrior)
I tried stacked decks this league and It's cool "AFK" strat but I just don't get how you can make so much with it. I played 12 hours a day and could rotate like 50k decks each day but I only made about 30div per day plus like 10div in sub 1c cards that exilence counts but wont ever sell. On top of that after few days there is just insane slowdown as more players do this. Divine price to decks was starting at 1:118 but I just wasnt able to get any even for 1:100 in a short time so I gave up because I couldn't get more than 500 decks in 30 minutes and didn't feel like buying decks for 2c makes sense.
I am looking to try this next league but I dont have allot of time to play as some one who can play a couple hours a day is stacked deck into crafting a valid strat? How much did you play to get this 16 hours a day or 4~6 hours a day? I know first couple days are the most important but would be good to see time investments aswell.
it was roughly 12-14 hours days. i have no idea how the deck strat goes with less time. i would argue you would have a better time trying something else with limited time to play
I enjoy your content. Future videos of this kind at league start would be so much better with stats for the end of each day like: Time played, kills, raw currency/notable drops/investments. At two weeks in, everything is abstract. Keep up the good work.
i know where youre coming from, its just difficult to keep up with the strat and also spend time recording stats and editing so idk if thats gonna happen. thats what streaming will be good for!
its my first league start i started day 3 then wifi went out now its almost two weeks hoping i can get good too or catch up my only other league two months late so i was hyped to finally try a league start
I tried your stacked deck strategy this league, I never prepped a leaguestart like this. But I couldn't buy stacked decks cheap enough and I felt too many people were doing it. Also I went bankrupt 2 times and already like 12 hours were passed by then, so I gave up. and actually started playing the game besides crafting some flasks and cluster jewels and of course investing. I guess that's why I'm only at 70 div despite playing the most ever 2 weeks after leaguestart. I guess hideout warrior is not for me, so get rich fast isn't for me either :D GG's though ! Also : is it me or did some prices go up VERY fast this league? I guess is't so many investing that the prices go up faster.
I tried the stacked decks too but lost 300c by the end of day 1 and another 300c day 2. My character was screwed on progression and I spent a few days trying to get back ahead but it was too late at that point.
thats it, i prefer to be a damn poor newb after thousands of hours of poe, but while i play i have fun :P ofc he might have fun trading and gambling too, as it might be just his thing ... :D
@@Bikespokes I realize that and am not saying you are wrong or anything. it just got pretty taxing literally getting nothing. I also wasnt able to get cards for 3/1 like you were talking about in the other vid they were pretty much 1/1 other than the occational good deal (like 1-2 extra decks) were you just holding out for the better deals or were you just going 1/1?

Requirement: Pull Apo from SD
sick video as always cheers bikespokes
Getting rich is easy, just gamble a mirror, open apothecaries from decks and craft a mirrorable ring NOTED
haha nice vid bike!
i did same open up 2000+ stacked decks on the first week and get nothing.
