Hello and thanks for another very nice upload. Here we have a ship that I saw when it was launched in Landskrona, Sweden. At this time there was an explosion in ferry traffic in the north. M/S Visby (this ship) of over 20,000 gt (in today's way of counting) in 1980. M/S Silvia Regina and her sister of over 25,000 gt in 1981. M/S Svea, M/S Wellamo, M/S Mariella and M/S Olympia of over 34000 gt between 1984-85. M/S Athena and sister M/S Kalypso of + 40000 gt in 1989 and the same year M/S Cindirella 46000 gt. Then followed M/S Silja Serenad, Symfony and Silja Europa between 1990-93, all three of over 58,000 gt. I think that development is one of a kind. What is extra fun is that they all end up in the Mediterranean and can continue to charm their passengers. / Warmest greetings Adam
Hello, Adam! It's fascinating to see how these ships have evolved and found new life in the Mediterranean. Thanks for sharing your insights and memories. Warmest greetings to you too! 😀
I've always thought the former Stena Felicity was a stunning looking ship especially with the "Unicorn Horn" mast poking out above the bridge! Her and her sister and Stena Vision & Stena Spirit have the Unicorn Horn
Never imagined the mast on her bridge as a unicorn horn, but now I can't get the picture (of a white STENA FELICITY with a pink roof on top of the bridge from wich a golden horn is shining) out of my mind😂
Great arrival video of the old Visby. Thanks for sharing Carsten and have a nice week! // Bertil.
Dear Bertil. thank you very much! Have a nice week, too!
Hon har man rest med många gånger, stor på sin tid.
Joli vidéo et joli ferries. Merci
Merci! 😀

Charmantes, irgendwie "urig verbautes" Schiff. Aber ich mag sowas. Tolle Aufnahmen bei typischem "Just Ferries" Wetter!
Hallo Guido! Vielen Dank. Hoffen wir mal, dass sie noch ein paar Jahre fährt.
