Ao Nang is awesome! Great vibe with heaps to do, way quieter than Phuket and so easy to get to all of the islands. Railay Beach is a 5 to 10 minute longtail boat ride from Ao nang. Great spot!
Nice! My Thai wife and I were there in 1989, 2014, and 2022. In ‘89, that road was just crushed gravel. It was just getting started as a resort area. We stayed at the Aonang Villa in a bungalow for six dollars a night.
Haha! Things have certainly improved over their now mate! Imagine if you could still get a bungalow for $6 a night, you would be living the dream! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment, greatly appreciated mate! 👍
Hi mate, August10th it was filmed. Krabi in August is hit and miss, sometimes it's great weather and sometimes not. You do get rain around this time. Best time is usually November to march for the best weather. Tha kd for watching and commenting 👍
@lampaolizard I've been there 3 times and would have to say it is probably my favourite destination in Thailand now. I love it for its atmosphere, restaurants and how easy it is to get to Phi Phi Island, Railay etc... it really is a great place to enjoy your birthday! Been going to Thailand since 2005 and this will be my first time in Ao Nang come October to celebrate my 70th.I hope it looks as good as your video

How come Pattaya and hua hun don’t have such amazing sidewalks ?
@carloslima390... I know! My guess would be that Aonang is a much smaller area and the local govt can maintain it a lot easier. 🤔
