After watching all the videos of Normalization Now Can do questions of Normalization . Thank you sir for best explanation . I tried so many study materials to study this topic but the best was on this channel . Short trick is Awesome .
God bless you sir. This is because of you sir. I am the master of DBMS in my class. Keep helping us by making this kind of videos for free. Full support from our side.
Thank you so much sir I can able to solve this question with previous videos knowledge and get correct answer. Respect u sir and wishes u and ur family for long live happily
sir aap ne diagram galt draw krr di shyd q ki....BCNF center me nhi outermost shell me chiye firrr uske under 3NF firr 2NF aur last center circle me 1NF
Nahi , sir ka diagram sahi hai .....u go from outwards to inwards direction to check..toh agar aap 3nf ki domain mei ho toh aap 2nf and 1nf ke domain bhi honge ....if you want more explanation check Lec 26 from 4:45 mins ..you will get it
Suppose if .....candidate key find krne ke pehle step me.... RHS side me sare hi attributes mil Gaye Relation ke....fer kese second step pe jayenge....
Sir Apne vein diagram opp bnaya .. i mean 1nf should b inner circle n bcnf in outer circle... which means the same if relation is in bcnf it's in 3nf 2nf n 1st normal form though explanation is right )🙏 correct m if I m wrong
onsider the schema R(S,T,U,V) and the dependencies S→T, T→U, U→V, V→S. Let R= {R1,R2} such that R1∩R2=Φ. Then the decomposition is : [A] not in 2NF [B] in 2NF but not in 3NF [C] in 3NF but not in 2NF [D] in both 2NF and 3NF Sir plz help
In the "Concept Of candidate key" we have studied that we have to find CK as short as possible. Here BD and AD are CK. So Why should we include extra attribute to find CK? You can check Lec-8 "Concept of Candidate Key" of "Gate Smashers" . Hope you will get my point.
ABD and BCD would be the super key and not candidate key . Super key is the key when some attribute is added to the candidate key . So please don't be confused between candidate key and super key .
If Swayam NPTEL had instructors like you instead of old farts or unimpressionable and uninterested faculties that teach partially relevant topics and test completely different things, millions of students would actually learn engineering instead of mugging up assignment answers.

❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much sir.
Thank you Sir 😀
thank so much sir...
Sir, please make a video on the link-state routing algorithm (networking).
but sir function dependency main right side main D attributes nahi hai.....
You should be the lecturer in bvdu solapur
I think answer should be 5 of q2
Apart from 4 combinations, 1st D should also include as candidate key
What ?? D is not a candidate key
Kha gaye woh din jab aap
Red marker ka bhi use krte the😔
Thank u sir
Hat's off sir ji
Thanku sir
Bhai , thanks man, aaj smazh me aaya , clg wale kya smazhane ki kosish karte the, jisme nind aa jaati thi
Sir Apne vein diagram opp bnaya .. i mean 1nf should b inner circle n bcnf in outer circle... which means the same if relation is in bcnf it's in 3nf 2nf n 1st normal form though explanation is right )🙏 correct m if I m wrong
BCNF is most restrictive and 1 nf is least restrictive so BCNF will be in the innermost and 1NF is outermost
@@GateSmashers u r right i just checked with your earlier videos n notes 😔
Sir plz make video on ER diagram and how to convert into tables
important 3:38
sir 2nd question me first candidate key AD me akela A determine BC so AD is super key same as ED and so on..... please clear my doubt.
sir will you add any theory video for direct memory access??
Sir, kya aap June 2019 ugc net k question provides kra dege
D is not part of any functional dependency right... so A, E, F & B can be the candidate keys on there own. There is no need of D there.
Sir how many tables are created by decombes
Why are you not providing English subtitles
Sir 2nd question me D ka clousre le rahe h but D to kisi ko bhi determine nhi kar raha h or na {FD} k andar D left hand side or na hi right hand side
Attack on titans , Sir that co centric circles
The table is 2NF right? as np->np
Sir q2 m BCD bhi CK ho skti h...phir. Ans c ho jayega kya
In a table we have to check the shortest CK.Here BD is a candidate key.So why should I take C with BD?Its's will be wrong for the rule of CK.
You can check the video of "Concept of Candidate Key" of "Gate Smashers".Hope you will better Understand.
it will be a super key. As candidate key has to be minimum possible
Why cant CHD be a candidate key for 2nd question?
onsider the schema R(S,T,U,V) and the dependencies S→T, T→U, U→V, V→S. Let R= {R1,R2} such that R1∩R2=Φ. Then the decomposition is :
[A] not in 2NF
[B] in 2NF but not in 3NF
[C] in 3NF but not in 2NF
[D] in both 2NF and 3NF
Sir plz help
B
Speed increasing fn is not working in this video
voo diagram aisa show krr rhi hai ki 1NF k under 2NF , 3NF aur BCNF bhi aa rh hai
Sir in main exam can I write candidate key trick for finding candidate key
Sir ABD and BCD can also be candidate keys so answer should be d i.e 6
In the "Concept Of candidate key" we have studied that we have to find CK as short as possible. Here BD and AD are CK. So Why should we include extra attribute to find CK?
You can check Lec-8 "Concept of Candidate Key" of "Gate Smashers" . Hope you will get my point.
ABD and BCD would be the super key and not candidate key .
Super key is the key when some attribute is added to the candidate key . So please don't be confused between candidate key and super key .
Sir please tell me which book should I prefer for question preparation of GATE/ISRO/DRDO.
and thank you sir for awesome explanation , I think U r the best teacher ever for my preparation.
sir,,,plz teach in english ,its helpful to all
thank i
Sir iska wues no 4 samjh dete aap
Sir, the diagram or hierarchy is incorrect ,it is in reverse order.
If Swayam NPTEL had instructors like you instead of old farts or unimpressionable and uninterested faculties that teach partially relevant topics and test completely different things, millions of students would actually learn engineering instead of mugging up assignment answers.
